dancer heals will work on your ncp, but only if you disengage, at which point ure ncp stops fighting ><
so it sucks! fix this one pol! unless anyone knows a way around it?

I assume you mean "NPC". I also assume you mean Square-Enix and not POL. And this is a forum for bugs on FFXIAH.com, not in FFXI. And even if it was bugs for FFXI, that's not a bug. It was intended from the start.
You can make a macro to heal your npc, /ja "Curing Waltz" <ft> is what i use to heal my npc, then there is no need to disengage.
You can also put their names in the macros, but it appears to stop working if you use multiple calls in the same zone. Idk what is up with that, but it happens.
