Denouements & WS

Any idea if the AE can proc on Smite? I want to say yes, as I've seen my smites do 10~15k on fodder occasionally with no buffs up (besides impetus), where the average is about 4-6k. 15k without even a berserk is pretty good, but I was thinking it was a proc of Colossal Blow. Could've been Impetus working a crit on each smite hit (which is rare), but just asking if anyone has tested or noticed.

Any thoughts?

The h2h are sweet and definitely have a pretty nice proc rate (fwiw). Sometimes I can engage a mob and it will die in one attack round (CB + 1 hit), so that's a nice effect.

Test it solo on apex mobs with trusts. If you get a 100k on a WS, then you have your answer.

It doesnt.

Its an interesting affect, but there are a ton of mobs it doesnt work on. (nothing in salvage, no high end battle fields/bcnm, etc)

I just wish it worked like blm death where if the mob is immune to death it just deals a large dmg proc.

CB doesn't proc on Apex Mobs, so not a good test subject.

It's most likely that the 15k WSs were full-crit. A non-impetus crit with denouements deals what? 600 damage or so if pDif isn't too low? (600 x fTP x STR mod) + (600 x STR mod x 7) (max possible hits) will probably get you close to the numbers you were seeing?

But I don't think the proc occurs on WS with this particular effect. I believe Twilight Scythe's effect couldn't proc on WS either as well as twilight dagger iirc
