What's highest possible DT- augment on DM augs? I've only seen up to DT-5%, and can't recall seeing pics of higher. Anyone encountered something more than 5%?

On Reisenjima gear yes.
You can get it normal way on Taeon, but it caps at +3, while DM augment caps at +5.

Holy balls TH augments are STRONG this morning.
Across 5 Characters so far, I got TH+2 8 times.

Of course not, just random dumbluck. TH+2 is the one augment I don't need any more of so of course every roll was TH+2 today. No refreshes, no phalanx, no WSD just TH TH TH TH TH
One helm was TH+2 back to back to back (yes I overwrote it twice!)

So yeah 0.6% damage upgrade over Carmine for Leaden. Macc is nice tho. Like I mentioned in RNG thread, they are about as good as max theoretical Fern stone augment with 35MAB and 4%WSD.
Kinda makes me feel bad about trying to DM Herc gloves myself, when even that good augment is barely an upgrade.

Maybe, but also barely. They have 11 less DEX and 7 less STR than Meg +2, but 3% more WSD. 3%WSD would probably very slightly win, but then you also lose like 40 attack and 30 accuracy. (That's also only for THF, DNC has AF+3 which have same WSD, but higher STR, DEX, att, acc)
They could be more upgrade for Expiaction, because it has kinda stupid modifiers, but that would also probably be a close call. You would lose 2STR, 2DEX, 22INT (and Expiaction is 30% STR/INT, 20% DEX). So you are loosing probably around 2% WS damage in stats to gain 3%WSD, but then you also loses ~35att and ~25acc.

Oh yeah. Also can get WSD stacking abj gear but wonder if these are best.
For Dimi with capped attack they are bis, tho only slightly (similar situation to Rudra on THF, but for Dimi +2%TA on herc hands is more potent than for Rudra)
Now good catch with NIN. Those are by far bis for Blade: Ten and even more for hybrid WSs on NIN.

I wish I could say there was a magical formula to force the augment path you want but random is random. I did go by the superstitious belief that if I did my main character last and did mules first, I’d get the augments I wanted. That ironically happened. But I still believe it was random nonetheless.

I try to keep armor where the DM augment actually breaks NQ stone augment's cap, MAB > 40 in this case:

Isn't the cap 35 if not DM and not 40? depends on the piece i think, pretty sure herculean and valorous are 35 but merlinic is 40
