Post Your Dark Matter Augments Here!

Since I am waiting, was trying to think of what to augment next and thought it might be helpful to post what I have found useful to go for. Not sure if anyone else has niche things they are going for..

Refresh+2 for most sets is useful for idle, can probably skip body

TH+2 for some number of pieces to get your to a comfy +4 overall

Phalanx +5 for basically everything...

Weapons. Don't forget you can augment weapons. I have 2x +5 phalanx daggers and it is laughable to solo omen when forgetting to summon trusts...

Spell interruption down - PLD shoes to +11 is great for +31 on one piece. Then figure out what else can add flexibility in gear

Occult Acumen - so far I know blm at the very least can make use of it

WSD +, though this is more for my mules at this point. If you get lucky with wsd with high macc or mab, it could be decent.

QA+TA+DA There are also those rare combos you could go for... only had a few of these running DM on 10 chars since 2019... most low values...

Rapid and snapshot and some niche gun things when you know you can swap weapons... if I only played cor I could make use of things like refresh or setup TH +2 on a gun, but inventory... rip

BP + for those SMNs out there (at least gloves)

DT - keep these mainly for mules that won't ever get bumba

STP though most jobs have access to Malignance or Sakpata

Again, if anyone else has niche things they are going for. No campaign this month, but always curious what others are aiming for.

What job? RDM/NIN?

I use the +5 phalanx daggers for thf omen farming, but have some +5 swords for rdm/blu/pld. I suppose dagger is useful for brds pulling in ody as well if that is your setup.

Oh, it was thf/rdm as I know I put phalanx up. but I usually 3 box with thf/war and sch/rdm and leech. <3 King of Hearts to get phalanx on jobs when solo or if I want 2 leeches for some reason. But usually will just put one alt on sch as I don't need to think at all with regen V and phalanx on...

Worth keeping? Sure no WS dmg but quite nice MAB boost

I think these days you're looking at +3 empy armors, agwu R30, maybe ea +1 or nyame nuke paths. otherwise most DM augments are ***

Refresh+2
TH+2

niche ones: drain aspir, Blood pact, dark magic +

Add: High macc aug on Chironic Hose.

Hmm, What type of blood do you use for your blood sacrifices to the gods to get those augments?

Herculean Trousers: Waltz +10%
Herculean Boots: MAB+17 WSD+10%
Herculean Boots: Quad Att+3%

Did not know this was a thing, but got Pet: Regen +4 on merlinic legs the other day. Good for Geo luopan active sets.

So I had a plan to put TH on two pieces of Chironic on my bard for TH Tagging with Horde Lullaby. Not a huge change, but it'll make it easier to ensure everything has TH4 tagged on it. Its not like theres much else to do with DM augs for a bard. I was thinking Body/Legs, as I have duration pieces in those slots, and the mobs wont be alive long enough to wake up.

All I needed was one TH+1 piece and one TH+2 piece, I can use Chaac for waist. After this month, I have 0 pieces of Chironic with TH on them. My other characters got a bunch of TH rolls of course.

DM campaign is so worthless it should just be 12 rolls everyday without a campaign.

Helps new players who lack wsdmg options and helps people round out phalanx sets/oddball sets.

or make Dark Matter count for 12 rolls. No ones dropping 600k on a dark matter augment just to get Enmity-4 Enmity+5

Wouldn't mind beads be exchangeable for augments. Would be far more appropriate in my opinion than Dark Matter.

They'd make it 20k beads lol

This is the first time in two years worth of campaigns he's given me anything truly worth keeping lol
