Country | Points | .±. | Goals | Fair Play | UEFA-Coefficients |
Slovakia | 4 | 0 | 3 | 7 | 27171 |
Northern Ireland | 3 | 0 | 2 | 4 | 22961 |
Turkey | 3 | -2 | 2 | 8 | 27033 |

Portugal | 2 | 0 | 1 | 2 | 35138 |
Sweden | 1 | -1 | 1 | 2 | 29028 |

Austria will not play against Portugal tomorrow and is currently sitting at one point.
Ireland will not face Sweden as well, and has the same amount of points as them and have 'only' a worse goal ratio by 2.

aaand Turkey came back, told you we were good at that :p We needed to win with 2 more goals than Czechs for a chance to be one of the top 4 third placers and managed exactly that. Now we need either Hungary to beat Portugal (very unlikely) or Belgium and/or Italy to not lose against Sweden and Republic of Ireland respectively (both very likely). Here we come the last sixteen (please ; ;)!... We will be matching Wales if we qualify and that kinda scares me, but could be worse. Bale can be all it takes for a win. I wish we had such a game changer player.
Emre Mor was pretty good against Czechs. Remarkable pass to Burak for the first goal. He missed a great chance to assist another goal in the second half though. That showed how inexperienced (don't want to say selfish) he is which is understandable given his age and desire to show off as a youngster, but still he should have tried.

I don't like this tournament tree at all.....
Germany, Italy, Spain, England, France all in the same branch...
Switzerland, Poland, Croatia, Wales so far in the other one.
If Portugal and Iceland win with the same amount of goals, even Portugal will join the branch filled with favourites.
At least it won't get boring.. each stage within the KO phase has a final-worthy match up... Wonder if Italy will play at all today to preserve energy for Spain.

That's largely come from Spain and England going against expectations and finishing 2nd, otherwise you'd end up swapping England with Wales and Spain with Croatia and it looks a bit more balanced.

Islande 1 - 0 Autriche
Hongrie 1 - 1 Portugal
Italie 2 - 0 Irlande
Suède 1 - 1 Belgique
I really have no idea for today's matchup, only the Italie Irlande game maybe, but...
As for the tournament tree, it's getting harder and harder for every top team, before the 3rd match France was most likely to go against l'Irlande du nord in 1/8th and le Pays de Galles in 1/4th lol
It'll make things less boring, now if one of the favorite team manages to get into the other path of the tree, that's golden for them. Tho i was really impressed by Croatia yesterday and i think they're in good shape to go all the way to the final now

I'm not criticising the tree's technical build up, I just don't like how it turned out.
Iceland 0:0 Austria
(Austria hast to push but will shatter on Iceland's defense, but I have the feeling that the referee will give a penalty during this game ruining my Tipp....)
Hungary 0:2 Portugal
(The German coach will go for a draw. Is Portugal strong enough to break them? Normally yes. Hungary doesn't want to give up goals so I expect a low scoring game..)
Italy 1:0 Ireland
(very hard, most likely Italy won't invest anything into this game, but sub-players might still want to show off and it is against Ireland... I wanted to go for a goalless draw.. but it's Ireland...)
Sweden 0:2 Belgium
(Belgium still need self-confidence, they will play for a win.)
Tipps saved!

If I had to guess, it does seem whoever comes out on top in the half that currently contains Germany, France, Spain, Italy and England will win the tournament, with no disrespect to those teams in the other half (except Wales), they all seem weaker.

Off-topic slightly since it isn't until Monday, but I think whoever England get in the next round will play defensively just like Russia, Wales and Slovakia did because now everyone knows we don't like it when teams don't play football against us.
They`ll park their national team bus right on the edge of the 6 yard box and try and counter.

Yay Iceland!! Care to fill us in on how you reached that conclusion? They're some of the best I've seen during the anthem. And even outside the stadiums they have been particularly colorful and nice.

I will pay attention next time they will sing it.
As for outside the stadium, our TV channels have only shown extremly friendly people here. (not counting the hooligans in the beginning, and during the croatia game)
I heard 10% of the population of Iceland is currently in France. Pretty enthusiastic bunch.
EDIT: Currently Portugal & Austria out, Turkey advancing.

Also, he threw a journalist's microphone into a lake. So much for being "a nice guy" off the pitch.

Portugal have to score else they're going home, but if they attack in force Hungary risk increasing the scoreline. I see attacking changes at halftime.

Seems Austria just missed a penalty so that game isn't over yet.

Seems Austria just missed a penalty so that game isn't over yet. The same post (left one I meant, it is a different stadium after all) that saved them against Portugal now denied their goal.

They say the Hungarian youth team was once playing a friendly but their goalkeeper got injured. A player's dad offered to take his place and they sort of kept him on when they became the national team. Daddy goalkeeper.
