So, just out of curiosity, if Trump asked Mary Fallin to be his running mate and she accepts, does she have to resign as the Oklahoma Governor?

I mean does she have to resign just to accept as running mate, even if they don't win.

She doesn't have to resign until after they win.

But that depends on the state I believe.

Bush didn't resign as governor until after he won President.

There's a .44 gauge solution for that.

Well, the crazy one would vote for her, but that's probably because he believes her opponent is an ISIS plant or some crazy, radical ***like that.

Disapproval of Fallin is bipartisan here.

A pair of amusing articles from Politico.

The first shows the value of a Trump endorsement:

Renee Ellmers is first GOP incumbent knocked off in primary

The second says Petraeus was far naughtier with secrets than Hillary:

FBI claimed Petraeus shared ‘top secret’ info with reporters

Newly unsealed affidavit sheds light on a probe sometimes compared to that of Clinton emails.

First article was going to happen anyway.

Not everyone who endorses Trump is going to win their nomination in whatever race they are going for.

Newsflash: Not everyone who endorses Clinton is going to win their nomination for whatever race they are going for either....

First article shows nothing more than that, but if you think this can be considered the "value of a Trump endorsement," then you are playing partisan politics yet again Chanti.

Second article is more of an opinion piece than anything. Petraeus's matter is closed, unless you want to ignore the constitution and consider Double Jeopardy on him, just to sate your need to deflect the continuing issue with Clinton and her emails.

Come on Chanti, you can do better than that!

I suppose I could have been clearer in my statement on the first article. I have no idea of whether Ellmers endorsed Trump although I think she did.

Trump endorsed her.

Renee Ellmers, Donald Trump’s First Endorsee, Loses Her Primary By Over 20%
Red State

For the second... Hillary never leaked top secret stuff to the media. And if this is a different leak than his pillow talk leaks it isn't double jeopardy although it could easily be moot.

Same situation applies.

Not every candidate that Clinton endorses is going to make it either.

Should we dance on their proverbial graves every time it happens?

Her situation and Petraeus's are separate. Both are similar on the fact that they stored top secret information on private servers unkept by the US government. Petraeus admitted guilt last year, got hit with a huge fine and a 2 year probation. Clinton hasn't admitted her guilt, probably won't, and be found guilty of pretty much the same thing, possibly willful negligence of top secret materials and bypassing federal law. Both which carry criminal sentences.

She could just admit guilt, get hit with a fine like Petraeus, and try to sweep this under the rug (abet, that would be a big thing to try to do). She still maintains her "innocence" even though everyone is saying she willfully disregarded the law. The only thing that would save her is Obama telling the FBI to stop investigating her, but that would also kill her presidential nomination....

That endorsement of Ellmers came way too late to accurately judge what effect Trump is having on the down ballot. I think he endorsed her just last week, it looks more like him pretending to care. Had he gotten behind her say, a month ago, and actively did a few things for her, and she still lost, that would be a better indication of the Trump effect.

Australian Eatery Introduces $73 Hot Dog

Quote:
Most of us associate food trucks with quick and cheap eats, but the Maille Mustard Mobile truck, currently touring Australia, is changing that. The upscale food truck is attempting to unite fast food and haute cuisine with a series of gourmet mustards and hotdogs. But while most of their menu items cost an already pricey $10 to $20, Mashable reports they're also offering a $73 hot dog creation called the Haute Dog.

While $73 is a lot to pay for any meal—let alone a humble hot dog—Maille Mustard claims the Haute Dog is well worth the price. But it’s not the fluffy brioche bun or Australian angus beef sausage that drive up the Haute Dog’s price. Rather, it’s the mustard. The Daily Mail explains that the Haute Dog is topped with a black truffle-infused mustard, and comes with a 100ml jar of the mustard on the side. Since 100ml jars of the Maille black truffle mustard, themselves, sell for $73 a pop, and can only be purchased at a handful of boutique stores around the world, the Haute Dog experience really is all about the mustard.

Spending $73 on a jar of mustard may sound no less absurd than spending that amount on a hot dog, but Maille says both the special mustard and the Haute Dog have been a hit for their company. "It is a very tasty, very sought after mustard," Maille’s Joe Barrs told Mashable. "We had a tub of it air freighted to us about a month ago ... and we've sold out."

I WANT TO ORDER ONE AND PUT KETCHUP ON IT.

*watches the world burn*

Wait a second ramy, do you not think there was some collusion between killery and the associated press to drop this bomb at the most crucial time when it would help her win California?

Serious question.
