Yisss gimme selfdriving cars!
Or just one for me is fine really if no one else wants.
I like driving, but I still think within our lifetimes we'll see driverless cars take the majority of driving duties out of the hands of people. Driving will become like driving stick now; an archaic function of leisure, not necessity.
Boo! Here's to volume up and backroad/dirtroad adventuring to clear the mind. *** yeah!
West Texas, around Big Bend, is the best. You can kill lots of Tarantulas while relaxing to whatever beats you listen to.
Not that you mention some wildlife, that is some of the appeal! Deer, rabbits, turtles (during turtle "get-down" season), the occasional roadrunner. When the air starts getting a bit crisp and cold or at dusk or dawn it becomes the most strangely, holistically rejuvenating sensation.
Granted, not everyone is going to have the pockets in between urban/suburban sprawl that we have. That *** so good, though! Ready for fall/winter.

Hey, I didn't say I necessarily look forward to driverless cars becoming the status quo, I just said we'll likely see it. I'll be a holdout as long as I can be, but the fact is that, long run, it's probably safer for everyone.
I love a good drive to clear the head. back roads, highway, whatever, as long as I'm moving.
Traffic jams and construction stoppages suck.

His country has limited number of snakes due to the climate (it's too damn cold up there) and the lack of stupid people wanting to poke it with a stick.

I just spent a week in the Carolinas and, from what I saw, if you want some deer meat just spend some time driving the back roads at night and you'll have a fresh kill in no time whether you want one or not.
