I guess I should have expected people to miss the point
It's not missing the point, it's looking at the bigger picture. Obama isn't "protecting his legacy," he's doing what he feels he has to do to help the candidate he feels should succeed him, the candidate he thinks is he best for this country. And that's his right and, frankly, responsibility.
I'm not saying he doesn't have narcissistic tendencies, as there's well-documented correlation between being a successful executive and having said traits.
But I am saying accusing his of being worse than either of the two people running,
especially Trump?
Trump would have been among the foremost celebrity narcissists I'd have named if you'd asked me for an example
before he ever made a serious move toward this year's nomination.
The man is practically a walking embodiment of the word.
