How many of you feel cozy with your current bank not knowing they are ripping you off and stealing your identity to make fake accounts using your real name and affecting your credit rating so they can make big bonuses on there checks while your house is being foreclosed on or your loan rates went up?

Because it's happening and Wells Fargo is not the only bank doing this. And the establishment Democrat and Republicans allow this to happen.

We need to rethink banking moving forward with the restoration of the Constitutional Republic of the United States of America. No more federal reserve central banks , no more compound interest no more credit rating, its essentially bribery and needs Abolished.

I've not, luckily. I know it creeps me the *** out whenever I see it online, and good luck not finding it online if you ever flip through any sort of social media/blogosphere (Tumblr, etc.)

I really disliking accusing people of dwelling in their parents' basement and not paying for anything, but I'm sorry it's the only situation that makes sense with LG.

The rest of us use banks because we have bills, and mortgages, and car loans OR -- if you happen to be wealthy -- you have investments/etc. even if all your big ticket belongings are paid off. If you say you "pay for everything in cash" then you're either dependent upon others dealing with banks so you don't have to, or you're being extremely irresponsible with your money. Both in the "financial security" sense and the physical security sense in that money burns and is easily carried, it's not safe stuffed in your mattress.

I keep hoping someone will steal my identity...then they will undoubtedly get a credit card issued in their name with a big fat credit limit..

but they will want to test it out first... you know...somewhere inconspicuous like...idk... an auto parts store or something...and they will be standing there with a guilty look on their face while the clerk fetches up their light bulbs or whatever... when suddenly!

every floor to ceiling window in the place shatters in unison into a million pieces as seal team six crashes through them, guns blazing...
reducing him to the consistency of ground hamburger... hopefully he can hang on long enough for the smoke from the concussion grenades to disperse so he can get a better look at the name on the card... and hear my laughter being broadcast over the stores' loudspeaker as the seals roll him over and discover their mistake....

I try to be pretty safe about it now, but back when I was dirt poor? Man, I wanted someone to try and be like, "***. I JUST WANTED TO OPEN A CREDIT CARD IN THIS GUY'S NAME. WHY IS SALLIE MAE CALLING ME 12 TIMES A DAY NOW."

Bank? What bank? I have been using credit unions for decades.

Nonsense. Really. Credit unions are WAY better than banks unless you travel so much you really need a nationwide bank.

But my BECU VISA is honored anywhere....

Okay, well, you can nitpick all you want. It's not "ignorant" though. I use a credit union myself. Saying it's not a bank is a matter of semantics. It performs the same functions for the vast majority of its members and its part of the same system that LG is whining about. Getting insulting about the fact that I'm generalizing it as one based on services and functions is really ignoring the forest for the trees.
