I do hope that he follows through with the Term limits and anti-lobbying ideas that he proposed. That would be the one good thing to come from his presidency; it would allow for more progressive thinkers to get into congress.
Hey TTP is dead. That is a win

Now we just need to re-negotiate our other FTAs.

Part of me worries that term limits will give lobbyists more power because then there's no one with long-standing clout to counter them.

Then again, it also doesn't give people as much of a chance to develop long-term relationships with their bribers donors.

Part of me worries that the local bakery will run out of pumpkin pie...I got my priorities straight !

I'm pretty sure he is talking about the different waves of immigrants

It doesn't matter. Shiroi's opinions are invalidated by his candian citizenship.

and Yakitori was probably told "You didn't build that" one too many times...

What happened to the campaign promises of draining DC of the Swamp Donkeys?
He hired some of the biggest, meanest republican alligators. Does that count?

It still wouldn't.

People would be arguing about how much they agree.

I read this and suddenly realized what it sounds like to people who don't know anything about Pokemon when I talk about that around them.

Lessee... Have the foxes guard the hen house... Yeah, I see nothing wrong with this. In four years when the country's in a death spiral under single-party rule, everyone will know which of the two parties to blame outright.

You might want to first blame the party that has become so out of touch with the people in the last near-decade that it has been "progressively" losing more and more government seats after having two years of control. Then again, that wouldn't jive with the party of "This is how we lost, so let's keep doing it until we win!"

It's the Democrat's fault for ceding power and allowing Republicans to promote the very people they campaigned against into some of the highest positions in government. lol ok

Vilify a candidate for giving speeches at the elitist Goldman Sachs and possibly a puppet of Wall Street. Yet praise our billionaire elect for appointing a fellow billionaire former Goldman Sachs executive and co-investor with Mr. Soros to Secretary of Treasury.

How dare anyone point out the inconsistency of that.

It's the Democrats' faults for sucking at their jobs and blaming the Republicans without addressing their own issues, resulting in a butt-kicking they haven't seen since the 1920s. But that's all about to change with... Nanci Pelosi in charge?
