If the USA changed their systems to

-free public basic hospitals and walk in clinics run by the government to insure everyone had access to healthcare, but employers would be responsible for drug plans and dental plans
-free public basic elementary schools, high schools and colleges so everyone had access to education

But also
-private hospitals in the cities so anyone who wanted faster/ higher quality care could get it
-private elementary schools/high schools/universities in the cities so anyone who wanted a higher quality education cans could afford it, could go to them

Would you ffxiah posters desire or support a system like this?

No such thing as free...
You know what I meant. Would you support that or be against it you think? Sounds pretty exciting to have all of your people getting access to healthcare and education right?
That liberal line is old. Get a new one.

"Why won't somebody think of the children!"
It's more interesting that you think that line is liberal.
You honestly think that hasn't been the liberal's argument for decades?

"Wait, you don't want to support healthcare, don't you care about the sick/elderly/poor/children? You monster!"

"Wait, you don't want to support education, don't you care about the poor/minority/children? You monster!"

Seriously, it's old. We already know that the liberals don't give a ***, because they have been controlling the teacher's union for the past 40+ years, and Obamacare was anything but to help sick and poor people in getting healthcare.

No, its not my argument at all, its nausi's argument that Obama himself ordered the wiretap of Trump. Not only did that not happen, I do not believe there was any wiretap of Trump Tower, Trump's microwave, Trump's cellphone, nothing at all, especially since we have credible people saying it didn't, and we have NO ONE credible showing that it did. But hey you tried KN, fell flat on your face, but I'm sure you are used to that. Maybe page 36 will be better for you.

That Obama wiretapped Trump? No, I didn't say that you did.

I did accuse you of taking Trump's tweets so literally that you needed to feel morally superior for pointing out that Obama personally did not order Trump to be wiretapped, even though that isn't what Trump said or inferred.

You know, if you actually read the post instead of skimming, it might help you look a little bit more intelligent......

Should look into the system of 'Medical Alliancing' used by New Zealand. Employers should not be held responsible for healthcare and neither should the state in its entirety.
https://www.theguardian.com/healthcare-network/2014/oct/21/nhs-learn-new-zealand-healthcare-system

Quote:
New Zealand has since developed a dual health system with those able to pay, or those with insurance, guaranteed quicker access to specialist care provided in the private sector. Such care is provided by the same specialists holding joint appointments in public hospitals where thresholds to get on comparatively long waiting lists are often much higher. Levels of unmet healthcare need are unclear, as patients either wait until their condition worsens to warrant public sector treatment or find the money to pay to see a private specialist.

Josiahkf said: »

Elementary, yes.
High school, yes.
Colleges, no.

Elemental and High School teach universally applicable subjects like science, math and biology which lead into STEM fields and engineering. It's beneficial to society to garner interest in the same in its young students. College should absolutely not be free. Degrees are already depreciated enough as it is and I'm not paying tax to cover someone's useless piece-of-***degree in Gender Studies. I'd be keen on partial subsidies for engineering, medical or other useful degrees though.

I think this is akin to what I explained above, just didn't see this part of the post until I got here.

As long as schools/colleges/universities are accredited I honestly don't mind where people study. Do keep in mind however that different universities have different reputations for various disciplines. Employers worth their salt will notice if a graduate has a degree from a university they know excels at the field they are working in.

Its funny how over the last couple of days the narrative has gone from full on accusing Obama of wiretapping Trump, especially from nausi, to a couple of press conferences walking back the claim, citing quotation marks, and failing to show any evidence despite a Congressional mandate, so that now its "We are taking Trump literally, and thats wrong. Therefore, we are wrong, and Trump is right."
And yet, there is still nothing from the WH to suggest that Trump was the target of any surveillance during the campaign.

You try too hard Vic.

Nobody is saying that Trump is right in this case, except for you, and only in snarkiness.

Wait, are you expecting an investigation to occur within a week and provide results?

Remember, a lot of Obama's mainstays are still there. Of course they aren't going to give themselves away, especially when they are under the delusion of fighting "the good fight."

No free college or health care. But my point is that nothing is free someone has to pay for it.

So you do support free access to elementary schools and high schools? You realize if that goes through that comes out of the same place right? You ARE going to be paying for your kids education.

And you are okay with that right?

I, along with Congress, am expecting to see some basis for these wild accusations that originated from Trump. They seem to be getting impatient, placing holds on Trump nominees and such. Its been what, two weeks? So far the WH has not done anything asked of them. They read a blog on breitbart and ran with it, you should have seen how nausi himself just got way out there, as if he was leading the Iditarod, just retract and be done with it.

The problem that I see with socialism is that people have difficulty separating the feel-good social justice theories and the cold, harsh realities of how it all actually works. I would be the biggest socialist out there if I could depend on my tax dollars getting a better deal than what the free market could provide, but bloated bureaucracies and chronic inefficiency plague practically everything that governments control.

While the healthcare system has not been at its best for some time, I highly doubt putting the government in control would "fix" it. For most things, limited, common-sense regulations and limited, common-sense welfare programs combined with the free market result in the best bang for your buck. Instead, we get ridiculous regulations and inefficient, exploited welfare programs with limitations on the free market. Yay.

Daily reminder vic, there is no evidence that Trump coluded with the russians to steal the election.

None.

Just like there is no evidence that Obama wiretapped Trump, and yet you continue to lie about it.
We've got FISA warrants that which establish the Obama admin's desire to look into trump. That's at least the start of a motive.

a bazillion times more than you got.

It doesn't matter what they say, they exist. One filed right after the nomination and another weeks before the election.

Meanwhile the pile of evidence that indicates Russian hacking remains at a big fat ZERO.

This is my post. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My post is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
Without me, my post is useless. Without my post, I am useless. I must fire my post true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will...
My post and I know that what counts in war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, nor the smoke we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit...
My post is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel. I will keep my post clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will...
Before God, I swear this creed. My post and I are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life.
So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy, but peace!

You rang?

Interesting assertion you are making there. Meanwhile on a planet known as Earth lives a man named Roger Stone who is a long time Trump advisor, who in fact did make contact with Russian assets in order to hack the DNC.

http://thehill.com/policy/national-security/324060-roger-stone-says-he-believes-secret-warrant-led-to-collection-of

Quote:
Longtime Donald Trump ally Roger Stone said his communications with an alleged Russian hacker may have been obtained through a  Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant, the Associated Press reported Wednesday.

Stone admitted earlier this month to using Twitter to communicate with Guccifer 2.0, the hacker allegedly responsible for breaching the Democratic National Committee last year. U.S. officials believe the hacker is tied to the Kremlin.

While Stone acknowledged the contact, he said he was not aware that Guccifer 2.0 was suspected of being tied to Moscow, and denied having any involvement with Russia whatsoever.

Do note that what you do on Twitter is not hidden from the public let alone the all seeing eye of the Obama government. Totally not illegal.

However, what he (Stone) is upset about was the information on his email exchanges regarding the contracting for the hacking of the DNC.

But it gets juicer if you believe the political gossips:

https://www.rawstory.com/2017/03/trump-ally-roger-stone-says-us-intelligence-tried-to-assassinate-him-in-wednesday-hit-and-run-crash/

Infowars because I know how much you love it...

https://www.infowars.com/breaking-trump-insider-roger-stone-survives-hit-and-run-car-accident/

Anyhow, been mentioning his name the last couple of days in here and obviously we weren't paying attention...

It's pretty simple at this point: They got the contracts, they're building a case. People's jimmies (Like Roger Stone) are rustled.

It's very frustrating to see in action but any system of any kind that we put into place that includes humans will be subject to corruption sadly yeah. All we can truly do is try to limit how much of humanity we leave behind in our current civilizations' growth. And right now we are leaving behind far more of humanity than ever before.

I don't mean I want you to think more selflessly or anything Rav, I just want people to think about their future more. Even as simple as "where will this bring me or affect me in 20, 30 40 years?" and dreaming about possibilities or having it weight in on long term decisions.

That's the stuff that we make breakthroughs from.

Donny if I think about the future it's the Sun engulfing the Earth killing us all...
