Muslim ban gets chokeslammed by the 4th circuit this time lol
Let to go to the Supreme Court.

Maybe when all of these judges' rulings get overturned, that will give Congress enough incentive to impeach these specific judges and remove them from office.

Since, obviously, they aren't following the law or the Constitution, but their feels, which makes them unable to pass judgement based on the rule of law.
10 - 3 on the 4th circuit, which usually leans conservative.
2 sources says otherwise.

And these aren't new sources, they have been saying this since 2012/2014.

From your first source:

Quote:
"I think that due to changes in the court, it is now a court in which if the facts and law are on your side, you can win," said [Jhon H.] Blume. "I wouldn't call it a liberal federal court of appeals but I would call it much more of a moderate court of appeals now," he said.

Blume said he believes the U.S. Supreme Court still views the 4th Circuit as a fairly conservative institution. "But it's definitely much more moderate than it was four years ago," he said.

From your second source:

Quote:
Judge Wilkinson, the longest-tenured judge on the court, recently acknowledged : "Commentators routinely call ours a conservative court, and it is often not meant as a compliment.’’

But President Obama, a Democrat, has now appointed six judges to the 15-member court since he took office in 2009, causing many to question whether his appointees are steering the court away from its historical conservatism to a moderate center.

So, is conservatism now consider moderate?

Huh. ...

4th Circuit is liberal, not quite as much as 9th but it's still liberal. This entire area is hyper liberal, again not as much as San Francisco (home of 9th Circuit) but more then Texas / Oklahoma and most of the rest of the country. Seven of the judges were appointed by President Obama and three by President Clinton.

Of course Democrats think it's "conservative" because they aren't Marxists and haven't already impeached Trump.

Once we get away from judges who care more about the law and Constitution than they do about making political statements we'll start to see some common sense in these rulings.

Making a passing statement ≠ demanding something.

I'm just making an observation that these judges are, by definition of terms of impeachment due to Article III, are not acting "in good faith." I'm not going out on the streets demanding that these people are removed from the bench.
Ironically, a good faith argument was one of the arguments successfully made against the EO.

In legal speak, we call such a ruling an "unconstitutional and incredibly stupid judgment".

No. More like, "We don't like it so we'll block it lol." It's just another way of punishing the opposing party in any sleazebag way they can get away with.

Um, no. It's fine not to read court opinions since most people don't but no need to pretend to know the arguments.

Whoa, hold up a second. Do you actually believe that the reason it was blocked was on the merits of the actual EO and not because they're liberal judges trying to stop Donald Trump?

If you can't see the politics here, I don't even know where to begin with trying to explain to you how the real world works.

Take a look at the list of judges on appeals court and find me one that would be favorable to Trump.

Well, I started, however...

I couldn't get through the opening paragraph before the *** meter broke.

Quote:
The question for this Court, distilled to its essential form, is whether theConstitution, as the Supreme Court declared in Ex parte Milligan, 71 U.S. (4 Wall.) 2, 120 (1866), remains “a law for rulers and people, equally in war and in peace.” And if so, whether it protects Plaintiffs’ right to challenge an Executive Order that in text speaks with vague words of national security, but in context drips with religious intolerance, animus, and discrimination.

That is a very specific accusation. Can anyone in the audience point to us in the exact words where Trump's EO specifically named one religion?

Anyone? Anyone?

Bueller? No?

That's right, it's because Trump's EO did not even specified a religion or religious practice in either form.

So, already, it shows that this "opinion" of this court is based off of something that doesn't exist and not by fact or law.

So, thanks for proving our point, Pleebs?

Better luck next time.

That's what they mean by vague in text but not context. Kudos for reading a paragraph I guess.

Neither you, nor even the court, has shown the "religious intolerance, animus, and discrimination."

Hell, you can't even say that Trump named these countries himself. He was using the list your lord/savior Obama stated were high terrorist countries and needed to be extremely vetted. Which, according to the EO, was what Trump was trying to do.

So, is the EO legal, or is Obama full of religious intolerance and discrimination. Which is it Pleebs?

$50 Bison Bucks says he doesn't answer.
