Let's top it off: The US has already given, meaning already released to this fund, $1 billion. The US has received zero, that is, a big fat goose egg, from this fund. Therefor, wealth distribution. This is a Robin Hood scheme, and some of these projects, the respective (aka receiving) countries could/should have financed themselves, such as Mexico's pet project.

China most definitely gets the lions share of that fund, it's the entire reason they entered into the "accords". Anyone can go to the Green Climate Fund's page and see where money has gone. China is not a recipient. It also shows what each project is and the estimated carbon offset. These aren't "pet projects".
