I'm a little conflicted, mainly because I think that if they made both Omen and Dynamis-Divergence with a skeleton crew, I'd rate one of those two as a great success (even though I mostly find the other to be a disappointment)

I've whined a lot about Omen when they first released, because of how time-consuming it was to get cards mostly and for other things, but these changes
1) Store more Omen tags
2) Entry with alliances
3) Regular campaigns
4) Farming floor
Made Omen so, so, so much better. And it's actually quite fun, especially when helped with specific addons.
Yes the "you have to be on the job" thing can be frustrating when you want cards for job X but you're required to play job Y, but it's overall nice.
Last things they should've done to make Omen perfect (things that will never happen) are:
1) remove scales and non-Ou mats from Ou loot pool
2) make so at least one Ou loot pool slot is guaranteed 100% to be equipment
3) Lower the card exchange rate and make it so it is 3:1 normally and 2:1 during campaigns.
As for Dyna, I was very much skeptic and against the event, but I have to admit I'm really enjoying it so far. Not sure I'll like the additional 30 mins though, if anything because events that last more than 1,5hrs without breaks tend to bore me/stress me these days.
I think one of the biggest reasons why so many people are agaisnt Divergence, especially in here, is because it can't be efficiently soloed/lowmanned.
There's a plethora of other reasons of course.
The quality of most of the the Relic+3 gear, the shards drop rate, the huge cost of upgrades (requiring mats which are already very sought after and that can't be bought from NPC like Omen, meaning their price will skyrocket not only for Divergence upgrades themselves, but also for all the recipes that make use of those mats) the incredibly high cooldown to re-enter and so on.
I think they should totally lower the entry time. Doesn't have to be super low, but it should be around 40hours imo.
Especially if they mean to keep the entry time at 60, they should really raise the drop rate for shard/void items and/or make so they can drop from any monster but higher chance from job-specific ones.
The current weekly campaign drop rates feel like it's where it should be anytime, not during the weekly zone-bonus.
I guess they should add more drops/motivation to the megaboss as well but hopefully the july patch will address that already.
Oh and yeah, I find the job unlock mechanic a bit annoying. On one hand it's less "demanding" than the Omen one, but despite that I find it way more annoying, especially to keep track.
But whatever, almost done for my 10 jobs, after that it's gonna be "play the job I want to play" for the rest of Divergence, rather than "the job I need to unlock".

And, I at least have some cautious optimism that the people who made Omen are capable of pulling off some decent battle content when we get to the inevitable Empyrean Armor +2/+3. Even if they don't do Abyssea 2.0, there's enough they can work with to repurpose for new events (Limbus, VW, etc.)
I agree, I have some very cautious optimism for the Empy reforge. Wonder if that's gonna come this november?
Don't expect Abyssea 2.0 though. As much as I'd love it, it cannot come unless they decide to release "abyssea 2.0" miniexpansion packs.
I'd be all for it of course, but we all know it's not gonna happen.
Really curious what they have in mind for Empy reforge.
If it's gonna be super expensive, I hope it's gonna be the Omen route, with fixed prices that will take away gil from the economy but won't affect the rest of the crafted prices.
Which was another very good thing of Omen compared to Divergence, if you ask me.
