These remind me a lot of the skirmish weapons. Easy to get. relatively useless augs. Cool lockstyles if that's your thing.
Ultimately a gigantic failure and waste of time and resources, outside of some weird niche stuff; melee flute, cure potency guns, pet tp bonus

It just doesn’t make any sense to make them so….. bland. Don’t think anyone was expecting a prime or even like… any sort of PREMA replacement, but damn… atleast have them spiced up with some salt and pepper in the form of an “While in limbus” aug. These are straight up boiled chicken on a plate sadge . -.

If they were good people would be mad they had to do more limbus to get them. I don't see the problem here.

These weapons could be cool if you could farm the R30 relatively fast. With the amount of insane grind that is (currently) required, uhmm... nope?
Isn't the sword nice on COR if you want to focus on magic damage for Quickdraw, Leaden, Wildfire etc though?

If they were good people would be mad they had to do more limbus to get them. I don't see the problem here.
I'd have to imagine these are missing an augment (#4), or there are multiple paths? Or the final product is straight up hidden. Thorny is thorough with his info, so very unlikely he missed something, but these augments are so bad. I can't fathom why they think someone will want to spend 5 shards on these and weeks of farming limbus for some HP. Atrocious.

The alluvion ones? Because I can at least say back then REMAs were harder/took longer to build, and at least from memory the alternatives werent super plentiful and they were at least comparable to other alternatives at the time so if you just wanted to gamble stones instead of getting a delve II augmented weapon they were decent
These are just worse versions of the dynamis weapons, just with added DT. I'm not sure why they thought these would need to require just as much grinding as armor ontop of yet again using the same resource pool but atleast new players got an easy 3-7m weapon they can buy off the AH if they're struggling to get a pulse drop

There isn't a single new player who will waste their time with this convoluted crafting process of buying 5 unique shards and farming 1 of each matter to make the jewel, to uncurse the weapon for these mediocre arms. They'd sooner buy a Dynamis NQ/HQ1 weapon for a fraction of the cost and get use out of it immediately. Then sell it back if they don't augment them and replace it with a better weapon when they get there.

In my mind they wouldn't share matters and the weapons would have some reasonable use in some content. The fact they decided to do neither is baffling to me.

I've been wrong before, but these were placed right after the limbus armor in the grouped augments. There are exactly 16 of them, to match exactly 16 new weapons(shield/grip). Two of them don't have dmg+(shield/grip). Some have a full 4 stats(pet ones). I'm relatively confident in this case.

Well in happier news I had just started doing automaton magic skill yesterday with Jubilee and only saw .1 to .5 over the course of ~100 skill ups. However today I've seen .6, .8 and ".10" which appears to actually be 1.0 so that's quite nice.

It's still way better to mainhand OaT rostam for hot shot/leaden spam though. You only need one of these new swords for the extra MaB offhand. I'll pick one up when I get a chance; I like leaden too.
Corsair sword and grip are the only two things that interest me tbh. Rest is just lockstyle or pass.

would have been cool if wep RP came from killing mobs IN limbus, so you could rp it while you worked on armor. I would be more motivated to do floor climbs for sure if that was the case. Another miss in content engagement for the sake of enforced longevity imo.

Honestly how it should have been for the armor too with the jewels just being a bigger RP dump...
Or at the very least 1 tower = chest and just let us pick the tower we want to farm instead of needing the entire 2 hour climb to walk out with 1 shard.
The armor is nice, but in no way is it reasonable to have 10 clears a week with 1 clear being 2 hours (trusts, no multibox, solo) and you might only get 1 augment rank a week on one piece out of the 20 hours it'd take, especially when a lot of the jobs use 3-4 of the pieces for different sets on top of the earring.

Or just get rid of the stupid shard/matter and let you freely RP weapons with units. They're not even competitive gear, the gate is silly.
On that note, someone in the Limbus thread said that they need all 5 race shards to uncurse a weapon. Are you going to need all 5 race shards for every single rankup too? Little bit annoying.
