They still got the guy. But yes military members without guns wont do much and the ones with it can't do anything if they aren't there when it happens

Sure about that? They are merely talking about raising the age limit, and the NRA promptly released a full, lengthy statement announcing their complete opposition.

And it is the major flaw in the notion of having a small amount trained armed personnel on a campus. Especially when most school shooters have an intimate understanding of the locations schedules and routines.

Probably because it's a reactionary measure that does very little to solve the actual problem. There are many ways to get a gun, and once a kid has his hands on one and intends to use it, then what?

Maybe if they bundled that together with some legislation that addresses the actual issue of mental illness and increases the awareness of red flags, all with a side order of legitimate protection for kids when someone slips through the system?

Well, now we're talking.

But whatever, blah blah blah, evil 2nd amendment, evil NRA, evil Republicans, evil guns, shootings win us elections, etc.

Good times in Kansas.

Quote:
JEFFERSON CITY
Gov. Eric Greitens was indicted Thursday afternoon by a St. Louis grand jury on a felony charge of invasion of privacy.

The charge stems from a 2015 affair and allegations that he threatened to release a nude photograph of the woman, taken while she was blindfolded and her hands were bound, if she ever spoke publicly about the affair.

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner launched a criminal investigation of the allegations last month shortly after they become public. The indictment accuses Greitens of not only knowingly photographing the woman with whom he had an affair, but also transmitting the image “in a manner that allowed access to that image via a computer.”

After news of the indictment broke, Greitens was seen being led down a hallway in the local courthouse by several St. Louis city deputies, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you want to stop anything from happening well outside of the fear of more immediate repercussions it's not really going to work. If you are trying to get a much faster response then congratulations you have reasonable expectations

Republicans rarely resign when caught in sexual scandals.

Why should they?

There's less reason to resign over sexual scandals now that Bill Clinton and JFK have been turned into patron saints.
