Eh, at least those goths are doing something that at least resembles fun. The ones in my high school just moped around and listened to crappy music.

At Least 23 Ethical Issues Are Dogging EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt
It’s a lot deeper than his $50-a-night rental from industry lobbyists.

HuffPo

They are having way too much fun with him.

There are people out there with odd tastes. I know of someone that actually compares a show to a sitcom as if it's some kind of measure of good entertainment that should be aspired to. When really it's very purpose and design is to be a time waster/consumable media that's given little to no thought after being consumed and can be picked up at any point.

Which isn't to say they can't be entertaining but it's not exactly the peek of storytelling or character development and even most the humor tends to be what's topical right now

they (stand up/sitcoms) are just trying way to hard not to offend anyone these days... /brings it back to politics

political correctness has completely ruined comedy. it's like they are doing stand up for hitler with a gun in their backs.

It's more like they are doing it with cameras on them that can post clips and have outrage mobs out for blood before they even finish the routine... because that's exactly what is happening.

That said if you stack the audience with people with fans and don't have any cameras it might be different. While not a comedy I recently was at a show hosted by comedians that got rather off color during the "commercial break" spots where the cameras weren't running.

The thing with Pruitt is interesting... he’s in trumps good graces because he’s doing what trump wants policy wise and doing it quickly... personally I don’t think trump cares all that much about perceived ethical violations but if it’s true that Pruitt gave those raises to his aides and trumps White House actually did tell him he couldn’t then that could be what breaks him... trump no likey people doing things he told them not to do...

If he was going to go though I’d guess it’s be real soon though... some elections coming up in OK soon so he’d have to be freed up... he seems to be a pretty polarizing guy here in OK too... lot of talk both ways in extremes...

Shulkin got fired for nothing in comparison to Pruitt’s scandals, and actually had the support of the veterans groups he was helping. But you can’t rationalize dysfunction.

Eh... don’t see ignorance as dysfunction... pretty much every other president elected has been a part of their political party for a good amount of time before they’re elected and have a base around them and people from the party to be put into those positions and there are still some changes... Trump doesn’t have that... he’s reacting regarding his management style along with figuring out what he can and alcant do... though I personally do t really agree with a lot of what he does I think it’s unfair to qualify it as dysfunction... he’s just going about trying to get the cabinet that he wants within the structure of the government...

Trump is used to doing whatever the *** he wants and even the president has restrictions so he just can’t do that now... he has to adjust...

Various countries, special interest groups, large companies, the super rich, etc....

What do they all have in common? They all have their hands in U.S. politics.

What's the most surprising thing about this?

It's been going on for longer than we've been alive, and you guys are only now starting to act all offended about it. You do realize that, no matter what party you belong to, this type of shady crap is going on with your people too?

How is that surprising? That's how politics have worked since before the U.S. has existed.
