This is essentially becoming Trump's Iran deal equivalent which is a great thing and probably the first time he is really acting like a president.
But somehow, the Iran deal is the worst deal ever.
When Trump secretly airlifts pallets of cash to NK and then ignores blatant rule-breaking just so he doesn't have to lose his "diplomatic victory" that was never even signed by the other country nor our own Congress.... Well, then I'll be glad to call it equivalent.
You are being over dramatic, but it's going to get there eventually.
Do I think that Kim will revert to his old ways eventually? Let's just say that my expectations are very low. Do I think that Trump will pull an Obama and pretend that everything is okay when it happens? Not a chance.
Trump is very predictable. What's mind-boggling is how people still get surprised by how he handles things like this when he wrote a book about it. The media makes worst-case predictions based on a caricature of who he is, and they end up looking stupid when Trump succeeds by doing basically what he's been doing for decades.
Want to win in politics? Know your opponent. The Left wants to win by telling everyone that Trump is someone he's not, and guess what? It's working for him.
