Sounds like it. The type of Liberal that protests in the middle of the highway blocking peoples way to work telling them they should help themselves and help those who are less fortunate. Well can't get to work when you are protesting lol!

I too did what I could to help you out in these desperate times. I understand the courage and pride it may take to get yourself out of such a incredible situation but understand that there are many around you who do not want to see anyone ever fail or be in a horrid situation. Sometimes all it takes is thinking 1st what can I do to help this person vs ask why. When we all wake up this Sunday morning and do our Gain Xp's while eating flapjacks, know that taking a moment to help this man who asked us for his help even saying some encouraging words goes a really long way. So I ask you all to man up and make a change.

Best of luck to you in the future Smokinskull and I know that this wonderful close knitted community can come through and lift your spirits! :)
Thank you so much, this made my morning, say a prayer for us also, as I'll say one for you and your family.

Nikolce is an ignorant nixxon baby-boomer mofo, it's as that simple imo.

word of advice for the bold: don't help what doesn't help, unless you want to defend what you never did.

Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to. Deuteronomy 15:10

If you are going to try to quote scripture, try using it all. Or, at all.
By the way that "God helps them who help themselves" quote isnt found one time in the Christian bible. There are tons of the opposite message.

Just food for thought.

i dont believe in god

that's fine. the saying speaks more towards the understanding of human nature than god or gods.

"helping" typically has the opposite effect as was intended.
Mother Theresa devoted her entire life to helping the poor, however, there are far more poor people now than when she started.

not only did she not actually "help" lessen the number of poor she exacerbated the problem by enabling the poor decisions that make people poor in the first place.

poverty isn't a lack of resources, it's a lack of understanding.
Wasn't going to even respond to you anymore, but!

A few things I would like to point out.
-You make no bad decisions (I didn't)

-You are not poor (neither am I)

-Jesus helped those who were less fortunate

-That popular statement does not reflect anything in the Bible

-God provides tangibly for those who are helpless and needy(I've done all I know and I am helpless at the moment. I have taken care of the necessities. But if I don't make a way now the future is Grim.)

-Before I even asked for help I did all that I could possibly do with my abilities and resources I had.

-The Bible considers everyone helpless in some way, shape or form at some point.

-Bible says instead: God helps those who can’t help themselves.
That means you, me… and the world.

-Me losing my job was not due to poor choices

-My family being nonexistent is not do to my poor choices

-Someone hurting children surely wasn't due to my poor choices

-Having my world fall before me WASN'T because of poor choices

In conclusion Jesus commands us to help are brothers and sisters in the time of need, you can find that all through the New Testament. See Hebrews 13:16, Luke 6:38 "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

And as far as Poverty, you tell that to the impoverished living in America, some with degree's, some with trades, some who have worked all there lives, and you tell them the choices they made were poor. It's good to know that you are Perfect, please throw the first stone. Just remember for you and your riches, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."

With all that being said, on my journey to become a Pastor, Teacher, and someone who will be able to help everyone one day, at least do your research and KNOW the Bible before you go spouting off Jeff Sessions.

Man, it seems like you got got hit by Murphy's law - the extended version - instead.

"If anything can go wrong then ALL of them will go wrong at the same time at the worst possible moment."

Everyone of us can get caught in a bad day when none of our plans would work. We can get stuck in the mud and can't get ourselves out of it no matter how much we try.

Well, that's life. Your life is like a boat. Sometimes it goes where you wanted it to but sometimes it goes the other way and you can't do anything about it. Worst of all, it sometimes just goes around in circles and get you nowhere. I will chip in.

If you can't reach your goal, maybe you could consider peer-to-peer lending. A personal loan. It's risky but will would help a lot because you are having cash flow problem. Don't use the payday loan.

Thank you I really appreciate it. I have considered it, I may not reach goal but close enough that I can at least get to work with something cheap.

There is a wonderful thread called politics and religion. We never discuss religion but you are more than welcome there. Just once you go into the PnR section you may never come out !

yes it was, you're just in denial about it.

you chose your spouse, you chose your line of work, you chose to have children without being prepared to raise them yourself.

that's all you baby, I didn't force any of those things on you so they aren't my responsibilty.
So if you are driving down the street, and someone slams into you and injures you or your spouse... You couldn't work anymore what ever the case maybe. Is it because you made a poor decision? Or is it because someone else made a poor decision? Just trying to understand your logic.

The best decision and most logical one in this case would be to block this guy and move on. A person in your situation hit by life should not be responding to internet trolls in the least bit. Complete waste of time and energy.

i dont believe in god or “his face”.

judging instead of witnessing.

think about it

#openmindedlols

sidenote: thinking of god as a future is like not wanting to see any face, since god had no face etc

I tried I have no idea what you are talking about. And I'm afraid to get into your mind. Fearing I may never make it back out.

I don't even get this line of thought. The whole "Help yourself, don't rely on others" is a pretty damn common right wing talking point. They love their self-responsibility and "bootstraps" talk. To think Niko is a liberal is delusional, he sounds more like a libertarian.
