California has cause their own wildfire disaster. Years of under maintaining their forests in favor of radical environmental policies, has led this to happen.
If you refuse or make it legallly very diifficult to clear out the under brush in your forests, they become literal tinderboxes. Hence all the wildfires.
This is an entirely man made disaster. A consequence of liberalism too.
Or it could be that 60% of the Forests in CA are federal parks and the federal park services have been defunded by your hero.
How come other states that run under the same defunded national forestry service don’t have the same kind of disastrous fires? I mean forest fires happen everywhere, but CA is he inly place they are this bad.
Well first of all, No Forest fires don’t happen everywhere because there aren’t forests everywhere.
Second California isn’t the only state to have “Forest Fires” this severe. Arizona, Tennessee, Alaska, Texas, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and Oklahoma tend burn 500k + acres a year.
To put that in perspective:
2017 the top 3 in order of 3,2,1:
CA = 1,266,224 acres burned
NV = 1,329,289 acres burned
MN = 1,366,498 acres burned
Now to the why do you hear about California more than anybody else? Because it’s California.
