I wouldn't consider Faith something that only Conservatives have, let alone mock people with that have a faith.

I don't believe in Canada therefore it doesn't exist.

That is the type of logic we are dealing with...no one will ever learn anything.

Hey look at that the US is the biggest producer of oil again.

All that peak oil *** was just that. I can’t imagine how much it pisses off liberals to have that much energy independence.

I remember watching some science channel movie about 12 years ago that forcasted an oil drought by now. People were going to be shooting people and stealing the oil in their home oil tanks. Beating them up over the last drops of 15 dollar gasoline at a gas station.

Leftists and enviro-wackos were utterly wrong again. How about that? It’s almost as if nothing they belive is actually based in reality.

Maybe I just get triggered when someone, even people on the right, insult peoples religion or lack of. I consider faith a personal thing that should not be mocked or made light of. I didn't like the rights attack calling Obama a Muslim. I prefer to unilaterally leave faith out of things.

It’s also the fake moral indignation that gets applied to the left while turning a blind eye and making excuses for the transgressions when committed by the right. Moderates and Leftists find that *** “funny” as ***.

An other issue is the people on the left and moderates think the people on the right that cover themselves in the blanket of religion are not really religious. They’re viewed as con men taking advantage of people’s faith and trust... same thing with regard to their politicians that never follow through on their promises to make things better.

It's not that I feel attacked or insulted, it's just a line I don't cross, sort of like "your momma" jokes. The right may be super christian, but other faiths do believe in things that are based just on their faith alone. I don't care what side they are or what religion they have or don't believe in.

I believe not going into people's faiths is a respectable thing. I don't believe in saying derogatory things to anyone's faith. I respect Chanti's Faith and I respect Shiroi's choice not believing in any. I don't support insulting anyone's faith.

I don't think we need to go there to prove a point either.

You are absolutely right about "if we can't see each other's faults" but having faith or not having any, is not a fault.

I wish both sides, people with and without, would not insult the other for their choices over it.

Offense has to be taken, not given. Words only effect you how you let them.

It wasn't lefties and enviros who invented the peak oil concept, it was oil company economists. It was part of a pitch for more subsidies. It was also at the dawn of fracking.

He doesn't know anything about oil, obviously. Saudi Arabia has dramatically cut their oil production this year due to lack of foreign investments. They still have the most oil, they are just pouting. The US not being in OPEC and just basic modernization has made it way easier for us to drill. Its not a partisan issue at all.

And we don't care what you think it all evens out !

It's a lot of not caring to make the world great !
