I'm currently farming buds for myself. I'm a rookie at it, as is my first time, so here's my experience:
Just doing this half-assed without any speed hacks, it can take about 20~20min to build a full set (less during nighttime with ninja feet). The biggest time waster in this process is 1) running around and 2) getting the PI to drop. 3) getting red proc (or worse, missing red proc and accidentally killing) an NM (like Chukwa, or Ophanim) is the biggest time waster of Chloris farming, but it is preventable.

Assuming you can get 4 buds per hour (double drops), it's only 2mil for the effort, at 500k/bud. You'd have to have some insane TH/bud luck to get paid, but the numbers don't favor the merc for this one. If someone on Asura would be willing to take that deal, i'd gladly pay it. But honestly, it's remarkably low. Minimum of 1 mil/bud is more reasonable. The time it takes running around and proccing red is painful. 500k seems not worth the time.

Well, you equating mercs and fair play is wrong. Guys are more than happy to clip the zone and build a pop in 10 minutes. And to that cleaving.

Solo its slow, yeah, even pos hacking. but tribotting cleave between chukwas its pretty fast. (luck)
