To me the weird part is that people watch other people playing video games. Not vids on how to beat a dungeon or boss, not heroically soloing impossible NMs, just gameplay.
Yeah, I used to think the same thing, mainly because it seems like the vast majority of popular game players either cater to 12-year-olds or otherwise act like total tools.
But then through the magic of YouTube recommendations, I eventually discovered streamers who are both hilarious and decent human beings. Unfortunately that usually translates into them being less successful, because for some reason people would rather watch and support an idiot like PewDiePie. Go figure.
