I do not advocate for economic collectivism. I advocate for economic individualism

So you are against Trump giving money to farmers?
Relief funds to mitigate the effects of a pushing back against unfair trade policies =/= economic collectivism....

I would much rather compete in a free market where all individuals have equality of opportunity. But given the choice of subsidizing china or us farmers I would pick the later in as a stepping stone towards a freer market.
Ask any farmer which they would rather have, welfare* or market share.

They will all say market share.

Whatever happens with China, American farmers have lost market share. Brazil, Canada, Argentina, and Russia have all vastly increased their soybean acreage and are selling to China. Europe and IDK who all else have increased pork production for Chinese export.

Fun fact. Like we have a strategic oil reserve, China has a strategic pork reserve and they are dipping into it.

* And it IS welfare. And the GOP says welfare is socialism. According to our resident expert on what is communist, Nausi, socialism = communism. Therefore our resident expert is a communist.

Even for FFXIAH, this argument is incredibly dumb. Let's find something else to discuss before we kill off our last remaining brain cells.

Corporate welfare is vastly preferable to personal welfare. At least you get something with corporate welfare. Personal welfare just breeds more welfare dependents.

The formation of a country is in itself a form of economic collectivism. When an entire country goes to war to fight for a cause that effort is to a degree an example of collectivism. The government controls the military, i guess that makes everyone a communist? Oh wait, no thats just stupid.

Advocating for these things does not make one a communist or a socialist mainly because the scale of said collectivism is pale in comparison to the rest of society. Secondly efforts to fight a trade war or any other war, are activities one cannot do on their own, or even in any kind of realistic privatized setting. A few billion to fight a trade war is minuscule compared to a government takeover of the healthcare sector which amounts to 20% of economic activity. People are capable of individually managing their over health, educating their own children, and defending themselves from most violent crime. People are not capable of confronting collective exploitive countries individually.

Your arguments are weak and unpolished.

I specifically ignored corporate farms, latifundia if you wish. Agribusinesses like the welfare. No one on corporate boards is going into bankruptcy or committing suicide over crop losses and lack of sales.

Ask any farmer ...
I think I understand now why you think fossil fuels aren't being subsidized. Subsidies bad corporate welfare good.

Corporate welfare breeds welfare dependency too and costs a hella bunch more.

I dont like subsidies. I would prefer a world without them.

Personal welfare breeds dependence literally. Generations of people who's “job” is to get a check from the government.

The downstream costs of that to society are beyond the pale. If these people went to work in a government subsidized business they would at least produce something.

Yeah, there were a couple misleading article titles lately on the matter. Regardless, there is a lot more to come. He'd have to be pretty lucky to skate every single charge.

No you’re a communist because you objectively espouse economic collectivist policies like socialized medicine.
We all got free healthcare and none of us are communists. Don't believe in propaganda.

Why do you think you will be President when your dumb *** is polling at 3% ?

Did you ever take basic arithmetic in school ?

How do you plan on confiscating 300 plus million guns from legal gun owners ?
