Counterpoint:
1. Windurst is the home of most of the offensive magical arts in story lore.
Windurst is also home to the great maiden prietess, Star Sybil (hoshi no miko). Even Shantoto cannot touch her. In Japan proto-history, the great miko was a powerful 14 year old shaman that unified the Japanese warring states over 1000 years ago. She gives rise to the August Empress, the mother goddess to the first emperor of Japan. The great miko is revered as a goddess at my Shinto Temple in Hawaii. The great miko would be the female equivalent of the Dalai Lama. Hence, Shantoto maybe fictional, but the Star Sybil is the child-like embodiment of the androgenous Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. A very holy, beloved goddess of compassion.
2. ALL foods associated with offensive magic and pets are sweets.
Your favorite game food, Prime Marine Stewpot, is fish and plant based protein garnished with shiitake, bok choy and nori. This game food is good for melee, magic damage and pets. IRL, this was my grandmom's favorite holiday dish. I want Dyna to be a holiday, so I unload free marine stewpots on Lex mules to feed the group for free.
3. EVERYONE knows at least one taru who has capped cooking.
