NNI Campaign October 2020

Anyone getting any interesting drops? New to this month's campaign? I've seen pulse weapons nq SU3 gear. Still waiting for a big money drop or PW key.

i think the SU3 is the big money drop, i'm not sure but i doubt HQ can drop from this event nor Trove drops like orpheus sash.
the SU3 is most likely the highest value drops you can get from this.

just curious what is everyone's preferred strategy for farming this ? any reason to go up to higher floor vs just spamming 1-20 looking for NMs?

If you dual box you can reach floor 100 70% of the time, that guaranteed you 1 linen coin purse. Just leave your mule at the rune of transfer except for lamp floor

Go with AoE job, pull tons of mobs and cleave them

AoE can hit the archaic gear through walls and won't aggro them, have some range weapon to pull for avoid discovery by archaic gear floor

Put any ZNM pops you get in DBox in case you get another one

In a 2 or 3 man group our strat is usually to hard rush floor 80, then do 1 floor at a time to 100. More sash and ring nms spawn on 81-99, Vivian, arthro, nis puk. Whenever we land on a floor 1 or 2 floors below a boss floor we tend to single floor to it before hitting jumps again. Can quite easily rack up a lot of the +2 boxes this way.

Targeting nms is also highly advised, we ignore stuff like achamoth, as the bow drops don’t have much use, as well as shields, but most other weapons have pulse potential. Our best run was a total of 31 items to be identified, after hitting 4 out of 5 boss floors.

So far, in this campaign, I’ve had 2x pandemonium keys, a plethora of t4 znm pops, chatoyant staff, gyve doublet, and a sneaky wee Orpheus Sash. No pulse yet, tho I’ve definately seen my share of pulse from previous campaigns.

How much tokens are you guys averaging?

This month is no good to me, gonna just be rotating mules ambuscade

So token gain starts to be reduced when the party size hits 4 or more, a typical 3 man run would generally see 4-5k tokens each, hitting floor 100, with a decent attempt at hitting most boss floors and making the most of the time available, generally aiming to jump to 100 after clearing 1 floor after 5 min warning.

Can hit a little more than that with armband, and maybe a good run with no or very few order lamps. I was actually aiming for tokens this month, was just finishing einherjar ichor for my next Mythic when the NNI campaign was announced. 1 or 2 man runs on regular nyzul isle is better for tokens tho, starting at 96, and hammering as many floors as possible, I’ve topped out at 10k (-1.9k for entry) solo, can take the full amount if you use an alt to enter and activate rune transfer.

I’ve been saving +1 ??? Sashes to pop then all at once while my current Orpheus is off character this time just in case.

Makes no difference. Just aim to get as many +1 and +2 boxes as you can.

Depends on what you are aiming for, and how consistently you can hit 80 with decent time remaining. If all you are after is znm pops and floor 60 is a consistent target, by all means set for 60. If you are looking to push your epam and osash chances as high as possible, floors 81-99 are where to be. The biggest thing about aiming for 100 is the guaranteed linen purse from boss.

Higher floors don't give better chances at items, a +1 sash is a +1 sash whether it came from floor 3 or 97. I've gotten 2 of those tables and I only do floor 40 or 60.

That's not the point, the are more possible sash dropping NMs from 81-99 than other floors. So a sash+1 from floor 22 might be the same as a sash+1 from 87, but you're more likely to see a sash+1 on the latter.

but you also need to cast lots vs party members while you can clear to floor 60 comfortably solo and have no competition if something valuable drops.

Also, do the orpheus sash comes from +1 items? I would guess those extra rare AMAN accessories would drop just from +2 box but personally never got any.

+2 boxes from the boss floors in my expereience are usually a linen or cotton coin purses, a ZNM triggers or a old nyzul armor pieces

Can confirm it does, my epaminodas ring was from a ??? Ring+1, but the chance are basically the same as SP Gobbie Key, just locked the type of items

i.e. ??? Ring = Ring
??? Sash = Waist
??? Pole = GS, Staff, GK
??? Box = Body/Legs/Rabbit Hide/Rockfin Tooth etc

I’ve probably turned in 4-5000+ items and i only ever got 1 epaminodas ring and 1 orpheus sashes from nni

Have used about 3000 SP Gobbie Keys and got 2 orpheus sashes that way

You can target only sash by picking singles 21 to 39 and 81 to 99. I have never seen a orpheus from it and yeah i think higher chance at +1 off Nis Puck then Gwyllgi. after 100 sash it was all trash dont recall how many +1. As far as I know, the ??? +1 items only drop during campaign, not outside of it.

It’s based on numbers actually. There are only 1 sash NM between 21-39 but there are 2 sash NMs between 81-99. Also, there are only 1 ring NMs between 1-19, 21-39, and 81-99 each. So it is to your advantage to go as high as possible.

As a soloist, I hit floor 81+ frequently enough, not consistent due to luck, but frequently.

Lol oh yeah that was it. I guess reading is hard because i was wondering that when i was doing it even tho traded 100's of them. and i even noticed they were all +1 last time too.

I had the worst luck with lamps but I managed to get 2 tables in 2 days. First table tho i had quartermaster set :( only got 1 pulse

also has anyone else noticed worse appraisals on earthsday?

You need to face NW during a full moon to get 17,5% more luck on appraisals.
The day has no influence at all on it, though.
