Nobody wants to do the analysis because it would show that the unimportant nonsense they're spending their days doing is actually worth next-to-nothing and the stuff they SHOULD be doing is the ***they pretend doesn't matter because they don't wanna do it.
How about You give an example of what is oh so important that people aren't doing?
Briefly skimmed your posts in this thread, and its been mostly complaining about people tracking things that you dont have any concrete evidence on... but that's the thing, no one has concrete evidence on anything. We only know what has ranked people up, not the value of what that task was, how close they were to rank up prior, etc... SURE some things may not contribute at all, but if your goal is MR9, then doing everything is simply the easiest solution.
If you're convinced that task X Y or Z are the must do things, and that'd help people get 6 7 or 8 easier, then just post that and stop yelling at everyone tracking stuff that's trackable in the game. That's the best we can go by... with all due respect
I reel like being helpful and discussing things is what this thread is for...: A) What ranked someone up, where they were at etc, B) How to do old/forgotten tasks in an attempt to make everyone's life easier, or C) sharing one's overall achievements for comparison.
Outside of that, just coming here to yell at others that they're dumb or wrong for pursuing X task in the game, with no evidence on the contrary just sounds bitter and a waste of everyone's time
It'd been stated by users that alot of things that many considered "useless" rank people up:
-Monstrosity levels / species unlocks (not lv 99)
-Campaign ops that arnt Fiat Lux/Stronghold
-Time played(?)
-Seemingly random field NM titles
-Certain/overall Quest completions that Dont reward titles
-Trust Points (?)
etc... you get the point
If you've been compiling some master list that is so much better, just post it instead of having this holier than thou attitude
Most regular folks just make a list of all the things, approach them in a manner that's more easily obtainable, or delegated to daily completion, and just chip away at one task at a time.
