You don't have to swap unity leaders at all, but aside from those (and some select few repeatable ones) if there is the exclamation point or whatever symbol next to it, do it at least once. There's 1084 in total.

I'm at 912 completed RoE ...how are people getting over 1,000?

The BGwiki page is missing Wanted 2/3 (which I've already done):

https://www.bg-wiki.com/ffxi/Category:Records_of_Eminence#Unity

Do I have to change to each Unity leader and do their Shared RoEs too? (I thought those repeated though, so will they still count as a firs time completion and have their yellow circle removed if I complete them?) >.>;

No, the repeatable ones do not count toward the total count. You probably have some that aren't unlocked yet. There are a bunch that only unlock from completing others, from progress in missions, Escutcheon progress, etc.

Start tracking. It's on a pretty easily repeatable pattern, and no some will never pop up for certain people. I had several people go through their pattern till I found my model, and then just made a character to match the one I needed for my match for the second title

Confirming this, I think that the possible options are based on your character race/face combination. While some are indeed more likely than others for a given character, some will quite literally never show up at all (much like it will never request someone of the same race as you are). If you've done several hundred rerolls, try remaking the mule as a different face/race combo.

I don't think all players can get 1084 any more as they removed the limbus category. If you completed it prior, it still gives you the count for them, but if not then I don't think you ever can get them now so that's a loss of 12 total. I'd assume the max for them would thus be only 1072.

Repeatable ROEs count, it's the ones that reset themselves after a period that don't. Things like the vagary weekly ones, the vanaversary weekly ones, unity daily ones, ambu daily/weekly/monthly ones, monthly deeds, etc.

One thing I don't think people have mentioned is finding mog-tablets. I've probably found a couple dozen or so and gotten every reward.

Any recommendation for finding these? Ive seen a few JP resources show "spawn locations" but they dont seem fully accurate or up to date.

Never found one, but also never actively sat down and tried

Best best way to find them is to catch them right when they are distributed, then run through all the smallest zones as fast as you can. They show up on widescan once someone is within spawning range for them, so you can write an addon that slams WS and reports when it finds them, but it isn't possible to do something like inject 0x016 and get their locations until someone has already spawned them.

Not entirely accurate (have written a fairly sus addon myself for dealing with them). The tablets only become "active" when someone gets in range of them, setting the visible/active flags on the entity and responding to 0x016s etc. Once someone leaves range they will turn those flags off and not respond again.

However, this behavior is dependent on if it's active in the zone or not. If a tablet has been spawned since server reset in the zone, been found in a previous set, then a new set is distributed and that zone is not selected, it will respond to 0x016s as an inactive/unspawned NPC. So you can at least find out certain zones to exclude as the month goes on. Similarly, if one was found last time in the zone and you fire it after they go out and now it doesn't respond to the 0x016, you know it's actually in the zone somewhere.

Server maint will wipe everything to a defaulted state again though and every entity will not respond again. So this information is only useful when you track all pops for the month and it becomes easier on the latter cycles. In general there's only like 4 sets max before a reset though and the first is useless.

You can also watch on the incoming entity data 0x00E for the tablet and run around and at least get notified if your client gets it which means you entered the range for it to become active, which can be useful as the visual spawn can be hard to catch.

Disclaimer: I do not recommend abusing these packets as the client typically doesn't use them legit and it would be pretty trivial for them to catch the behavior if they really wanted to. Use at your own risk for how much you want tablet rewards, lol.

It's a shiny on the ground right? At least can play wire frame if using windower to see it easier

Do the tablets have seperate trackable id's? Or multiple id's for every tablet spawn spot in a zone? That would make finding them by cheater means a lot easier

Doing my limit break RoEs but running into an issue. Any reason this isn't being counted as complete?

Edit: Nevermind. It completed after removing the objective and resetting it. Weird.

All capped for level 99 Jobs.

I was more curious what people's methodology for scouting them was.... in a vanilla way. I dont really intend to use 3rd party to expedite the process. If allseeingeye allowed me to see all the possible spawn locations and then I'd mark them on a map and just check those spots, that'd be one thing, but having something scape packets for me is a step beyond what I'm willing to do.

That being said, what are the smallest zones worth checking? Behemoth's dom., Valley of Sorrow etc.? Checking North Gustaberg sounds like a fool's errand

Oh Also:

I was doing my V Torso Skirmish and Alluvion Skirmishes last night, just checking titles off the list.

I did Rala Waterways V with 5 Head / Torso / Legs and a Eud. Ring

I did ~ 13 floors of Mistmaw boss kills, with one of them being a Balamor's Adumbration

When I was finished, the title I received was "Adumbration Disperser", not "Queller of Otherworldly Gales"

This is confusing because all resources I've seen say that Adumbration Disperser is from Cirdas, and Queller of Gales is from Rala.

Is this just a mistake in labeling on the wikis and previous posts?

Didn't get the chance to do Alluvion Cirdas U, but I'll update if I get Queller and the titles are simply mislabeled

Since returning:
- Got gold mentor flag
- Did a few Limbus clears, all graces obtained
- Picked up Gold Ballistar from Ballista
- Unlocked last few species for Monstrosity; half 99, all 60+
- Took Campaign Ops from 11/246 to 197/246 (80%)
- 1048/1082 Titles
- Only missing Jungle Chocograph, but digging is now A35

Stumped on what to do next. A few more Limbus clears? Maybe some Besieged if they somehow keep track? Liam/Navius got anything?

-No prime stage 5
-No ML50 job (but Liam confirmed you can be 9 without any ML50)
-Moogle Mastery 39
-All Odyssey bosses cleared on highest Veng level, might have 2 pieces now at R30? Didn't even buy the DNC dagger from that T1 so I think that's safe.
-I have a crafting shield (Navius does, Liam did not at rank up) and all guild GP items - and now I have all the key items from every guild.

One Mog-Tablet entity per map that just changes position when scattered to the zone. After being found, it stays in that location non-visible and non-active until the next time a tablet is selected for that zone, at which point its location changes.

Those two are the smallest maps possible yes. You can't really ASE it because it'll only show where it was the last time it was in zone and not this current time as there's only one entity for it that moves around.

The FFXI wiki has some suggested locations which are hit and miss from when I've actually found them (sometimes in a similar spot, sometimes somewhere else entirely). There's more than likely a collection of like 10-20 hardcoded spots per zone it can be that will pick between.

One of the things I wanted to get working was a record database of when a tablet was found that could be shared between players to build up a collection of xyz values it might be able to use, but it was being a headache to get working and I lost motivation after I got down to only like one thing left from the tablets I need lol.

Liam's notes mentioned hitting 80% of campaign ops so we're tied there (197/246).

As for chocobo digging, he hit A40 on the day he hit rank 9 and now I am at A35 (which is one rank higher).

Above all that a crafting shield does not weigh anymore in my favor in addition to having deleveled/leveled all crafts for those titles - and I have 25-30 more titles than he did when he dinged.

Monstrosity doesn't seem to be a factor either since his highest level is 70 - so having a monster at 99 isn't a hard requirement but having more species unlocked seems to be the ranking up factor (moreso than maxing all to 99).

Here's a detailed rundown of my tallies, hope they help you find what you're missing!

What I HAVE done.

What I have NOT done.

Titles missing using Kaytes addon

There must be an outstanding quest, or a KI or something tiny blocking your rank up as on paper you've both completed more than me. those VR epilogue chats? maybe restarting mythic/apoc nigh/addon quests unflag them as completed?

Also, we have made an assumption that ephemeral titles (like Ballista ones) do not matter. I think that probably isn't true, at least for the bugged titles, because I ranked up previously when I got Fulmination Disrupter.

Rank 9s:
1. What Bumba rank are you?
2. What Incursion level are you?
3. How many/which Master Trials have you cleared?
4. How much Ballista have you done? (Never done, got a few permanent titles, got the random star titles?)
5. How much Monstrosity have you done? (All 99s, unlocked all species, unlocked most species, did some?)
6. Have you killed Aminion? (Or w/e his name is)
7. What obscure/weird stuff did you do back in the day? (Like tons of Garrison, have done a lot of different BCNMs, etc.?)

I wrote that while Liam was posting, sec and I will parse it.

1. Bumba 25
2. Incursion 131
3. Did the first 4 master trials
4. I know he did more than the minimum ballista based on previous posts.
5. Some Monstrosity, unlocked a bunch
6. Yes, have killed Aminion
7. ???

Funnily enough I actually have done a fair bit of Garrison, I haven't done loads of different regions but def done the starting areas - My brothers and I had a tradition for years of doing a Christmas garrison for nostalgia. If you've never done one, worth a shot!

It's not that I don't think ballista titles don't count for anything, but more that they're only worth points for your account while you have access to them, which means after a week you lose their value again anyways as they're no longer present in character data. So while one of them might be the small bump to push you over a rank, when you lose it again it would likely derank you like people who deranked when they gave up campaign medals.

My addon should automatically update titles you've lost since last update when you talk to bards, which should note things like the ballista titles or exclusive/bugged ones (it will record it while you have it, but when the NPC says your data no longer has it, will update to remove it and log that).
