+3% haste / + 7 acc?
or
+3% haste / +2% double att.

im going to have to assume 7acc can put out more consitent damage than +2% double att but double att sounds nice :P

My opinion on DA or ACC for that thf build is this... if you don't have capped ACC, go with the ACC, if you have capped ACC, go DA if you want.

Uncapped ACC = you aren't hitting on full potential
Capped ACC = Extra ACC is just a waste.

Yeah probably works with dnc-moves just like conserve mp does with magic.
Would be epic if it occationally worked on weaponskills too tho >_> lol

I agree that, that may be the effect of conserve TP but if you look at "Waltz" TP cost -5 You would assume that this would not be for dancer moves as the Waltzes where specific in this augment. It may be for all moves that consume TP and if so have both those for DNC might give a nice -10 Tp on waltz and -5 on all others. Just a thought though.

When Conserve MP activates, the cost of the spell will be reduced to n/16 * (original cost), rounded down, where n is an integer ranging from 8 to 15. All possible values of n have an approximately equal chance to occur. Thus, each activation of Conserve MP save 28.125% of MP cost on average.

If Conserve TP works the same way, this would be really epic for DNC :P
Conserve TP +5 probably means 5% proc-rate, so unless DNC gets this trait in a update idk if just those 5% is worth it tho.

Its not letting me quote you but 7 acc will give you +3.5% acc at 35% hit rate its a 10% increase in melee damage and ws frequency at 70% its 5% melee increase in damage and ws frequency. Not that youd ever be at 35% acc but its to help you understand its worth goes down closer to capped acc but even at high acc 90% adding 3.5% is a about a 3.9% increase in melee damage and ws frequency. (90 x .39 = 3.51)

The +2% double attack on the other hand is only a 2% increase in melee damage and ws frequency.

So of course the only way the double attack can win is if you are over 93% acc which is very unlikely for 1 handers.

Btw 2 acc = roughly +1% hit rate source from wiki hit rate page: its been tested and prooven so you dont need to take my word for it quote:

" * When attacker's total accuracy is the same as the defender's total evasion, then the expected hit-rate is 75%

if Accuracy == Evasion → Hit-rate = 75%

* For every 1 increment of attacker's accuracy, attacker's expected hit-rate is raised by 0.5% "

soooo some stats look nice but idk what i will pick ;; thinking about mage with movement+ and either PDT-4% for BRD and BLM or movement+ and cure potency so RDM has something from it aswell :o

so unsure yet! I think for THF and BLU i just wait till somewhen ever homam drop for me lol

haste3/Acc7 for drk since I don't have Homam.
MP25emn-4/CC+5% for whm Rdm and I guess even Blm.
Movement+8%/??? for idle on Whm Rdm Blm?

Interesting..any thoughts?

First is a marginal improvement over Mahatma and Morrigan's. Less of an improvement than your other posted options.
Second is what I'm doing until I get Homam.
Third is best in slot for cures.
Fourth is what I'm going to do once I have Homam, with PDT-4% as my other augment. Replaces Goliard Trews and is only marginally worse than the Herald's Gaiters that I will never own.

Why is everyone saying the Mage pants are hot looking!? They are a pair of dragon pajamas! They are UGLY just like the other options. Although if I come to learn that the move+ stacks with Heralds I'm getting them. >_>;

Movement Speed+ has never stacked.

Best you can get is 25% on Ninja Kyahan with Mazurka and Swift Shoes.

i r upset wit the aug's i so wanted fast cast +5% for rdm :p (me like to cast fast :D) and lookin at it ima prob end up having to get the freaking pld legs(i dont like there look) /sigh prob end up wit pys dmg - and speed since no crimson/blood :\ just so i can have the speed for sam 2 :\ dont judge me! i kill you! ... @ least do it silently stop pointing and laughing -.-

Either way looks like a sam movement speed peice for 1 char, and I cant decide to make it a drg or blm peice for aaroca /sigh.

Movement+ gear doesn't stack. However, you can stack movement+ gear with a movement+ spell like Mazurka.

My BRD and BLM both idle in the fantastically ugly Goliard Trews. I for one will welcome my new dragon pajama overlord! :P

I know standard move+ has never stacked within gear, but can you really blame me for hoping that somehow the augment system will bypass this? ^^;

Hands down I want the move+8% and am debating on the usefulness of other Aug's to pair it with. Was thinking maybe CP+5% because I don't really see anything good for a kiting piece for BLM and could maybe turn these into a FT WHM piece.

Any suggestions guys?

-PDT, MP, and Cure Potency are all good accompaniments to Movement Speed, in that order imo.

If you're overshooting acc, get 7 acc on your pants and then swap out other gear for stuff > 2% da.

The order I would change things in:

1.Acc ring --> Blitz ring
2.Cuc matle --> Foragers
3.Acc --> DA

racc+7 barrage+1 is what I will pick if I do a pair for my RNG.

There is 3 other item in game that give movement speed for ranger(and it's 12%) so I would not waste 1 stat for movement speed.

Racc+7 Ratt+7 is also a nice upgrade Scout's Braccae.

Haste+3 Acc+7.
Phantom roll recast? Meh.
Mab+4 is obtainable on other pants, and denali gets +3mab and macc + AGI.
