So if I’m at 105 and I’m wearing Anglers set plus the glasses that’s +5 Fishing skill.

So my question is wouldn’t that cap me? So I wouldn’t get anymore skill ups? Or does the game coding not count that towards my actual level?

all crafting+ gear and furnishings do not affect your real skill level, only your effective skill level. When you hit 110, with that gear your effective level will be 115. Same holds true for advanced support and foods.
