No you changed the topic and started with blu should cry about gear cor should be crying over gear. Just let it die you seem to think blu has no reason to complain about gear and clearly don't play the job or haven't in forever. Saying because they got the same gear everyone got then they shouldn't be complaining then by that token nor should cors about gear which means your comment makes even less sense than before. All in all blu needed help it didn't get and it's not just game mechanics. Cor wasn't doing damage that spot be with geo but se more sure that wouldn't happen by nerfing geo debuff bubbles.
Do we need another DD at the top tier? Should BLU not just be useful for other things?
No we don't but we don't need to act like chimps and say cor needs more help than blu. Acting like cor is in a bad spot because they didn't gear when it needs no help while blu did need some help in points people listed is stupid.

I 100% agree with you about duration buff, but I dont remember physicals spells doing 8-10k (without CA/Efflux) 15 years ago :)

Sinker Drill is actually pretty good imo. Good for finishing segments mobs on 3rd and 4th floor, when they are left at ~10%HP sometimes after WS. CA/Efflux Sinker Drill is also nice to close Darkness after Expiacion.

Also, besides for traits like 90% of the BLU spells are garbage lol. Physical spells are basically never used, along with the fact that the skillchain/mb aspect of the job are on two minute timers.

DRG is also good for bee, because of piercing.

I didn't say it would outparse it, I just mean I am sure it would be able to get the kill done too. WAR DRK COR BRD all using SB should be enough?

Back on topic drk gear just seems like more of an acc set than anything tbh. Hands should be a swap but rest seems kinda meh. I still think we riot about blm gear.

As it stands now, there really is no point to bring a BLU if you are in a competent party. The roles have reversed when it comes to RDM and BLU. The only time you may bring a BLU is to fix holes in your party(like your WHM is trash)

Who said cor is in a bad spot? I only said cor got as many gear update as BLU in the past 4 years(which is fact) but BLU q.q 10 times harder as if it's the only job in the world that SE doesn't buff. So I call that hyperbole.

They did not get the same quality of gear in the last 4 years. Just literally in the quality of relic and SU5 lol. And if we take it back even further when they started giving roll+ on gear, it has been nothing but expanding COR's power, where BLU has been stagnant.

So I wanna ask this are we missing something with geo or is SE? The earrings make 100% no sense. The gear in some slots are okay like I expected geo gear to be meh but like the earrings I thought would be good.

Kinda disappointed that BRD body got 1% duration. My hopes of the +3 being 20% are diminishing.

The patch notes say you need to participate in Sortie as the job you want to upgrade armor for. Is this going to be more like Omen or Dyna D? Perhaps the earrings only drop for the job you’re on?

I'm not shaming BLU, I'm correcting hyperbolic statements.

I'm also not a COR only person, and I have no idea why you say that. COR is not even my favorite job to play in game. It's just that whenever I asked if people can invite me to their parties pretty often they are like "Afa COR please", so I'm forced to play it quite often in groups.

But I guess I'm not allowed to discuss BLU only because of that then.

SAM body is ridiculously good. SAM overall made out really well I feel.

That DRK earring is also really nice. Many of the earrings are underwhelming but a few are interesting.

DNC earring in particular I’d like to see some math on versus other options. SC Bonus + PDL could make it a really nice piece for closing a non-clim rudra. Only say non-clim because your damage is gonna be so high with climactic that you probably don’t need the SC bonus to make 99k darkness.

I knew the sam body was gonna be amazing it was still semi amazing at +1 Sam for sure overall is amazing. Glad I got rid of Ken+1 early not gonna lie.

All 9% PDL earrings are completely OP and destroys all other current options (beside moonshade for some WS at low TP). It's not even close and that's before augments. Ofc you need to be attack capped.

Poor blm geo nin(maybe) I honestly hate they making it you gotta come job to get the upgrade. Maybe if it's just one and done sure it won't be bad but idk.

Yes I understand that but that's the drawback you gotta be attack capped which for jobs like drk ain't much in high-end stuff without lot of help. Which depends on select things I know.
