 This is another fun reaction video from Max. A few disclaimers. 1. It's an hour long. and 2. He bleeps out the F-Bombs but says other profanity constantly. It's pretty weird because I'm binging Suits right now and they do the same thing. It's as if one specific curse word is allowed and nothing else is. Weird!

 Max got to play the Tokyo Game Show demo and is releasing his impressions. This is the first one that is just an overview. It looks great. And I know we are going to get this demo and I'm excited for it.

Edit: Ouch, or not. New info coming Feb. 6.... Show me more footage of Red riding a chocobo and I'll buy a 2nd copy
Also release date for the demo would be nice Final Fantasy 7 Remake (2020)
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (Late 2023 or Early 2024) Final Fantasy 7 Re(something) (2026 or 2027?) I get why they have to add more padding in these episodic versions, but I hope they cut it better when all 3 parts are done. It would also be nice if they consider adding a turn based system in addition as an option at some point before its done. The combat works great, but since they will never do this again it would be nice to try keep everyone happy before it's all finished and done in 2027/8. Regardless, looks great.

Some early info leaked on Twitter, it looks like a demo drop is coming today (or soon).
Map looks really awesome and the game seems to be huge in terms of content, vehicles and color chocobo.
Alexander, porogo, mini games. Damn this looks awesome, this is what people want from FF.

Map did it for me, made me feel excited to explore the world.
Wished they used some more upbeat music for the trailer though. It's nice music but it's less hype inducing for others. Kind of crazy how quick they are putting these out too considering how much content it seems to have and the quality. All the characters look amazing. ayo

Couple things from the demo so far: I hope the full game doesn't look this blurry in performance mode or the graphics mode is less stuttery. Can definitely tell it's a UE4 game. Feels kinda arcadey and the animations are more kind of cartoon-like but I guess that's what they were going for. In the demo at least, combat seems far too easy with enemies melting. Also certainly seems like Final Fan Service 7, so I hope they get the story beats right with what they'll change (please!). (Piano minigame is fun - and hard). Yeah I got a 2600 on my first piano attempt, it's hard! Great demo though, looking forward to the Junon chapter.

I'm guessing that the demo is similar to the media build that was reported on months ago (or at least I'm hoping, because some things need to be polished). The Sephiroth and Cloud dual attack still has those goofy low-res faces despite people memeing on it. I'm tempted to not skip the Nibelheim portion of the full release just to see what changed, if anything. |
