Get a malformed pre-loaded, then farm another 50k beads, then come subject yourself to Asura for 3 days getting 2 Aeonics made.
Doing the Aeonic climb and reforming DI points to replace Hauksbok Arrow (on #6 now) is about the only way I get beads these days lol. Only 4 left to make!

Any content in XI after 2013 is stuff I'm barely versed in at all. The most I even know about Aeonics is you need the beads, all the Geas Fete mobs(don't think I've even fought any ever), and the relish weapon Attestations/Frags.
I bet I don't even have enough beads OTL

Clearly, you go DRK/rng these days in order to apply status ailments/debuffs at range, and occasionally show the Ullr PLDs how it's really done with your Exalted Crossbow +1 and Heavy Shot.
And then the real secret weapon of DRK/rng... Darkling Bolts! Ullr PLD gots nothing on you, babe!

I've always enjoyed DRK/PLD. Nothing like throwing up Cover on the tank! You can even help level the playing field with flash! Since you are going to miss have the time, the mob might at well also!

It used to be useful for stunning mobs. 2 Bashes and Stun had some niche uses. But /DRG is too strong now.
