You will never find this cause in America. Anywhere.

Thanks, Maldives for that opinion

what might SE's response be?

"Ugh, the drama isn't worth the rev, pull the plug."

^this

I suppose the real way to influence would be to somehow institute a boycott of something SE cares about more like 14 or 16, or some new game... though I am not sure how many of us remaining 11 players have much time for other games anyway...

It just won't work sadly, SE has practically given up on this game beyond the absolute bare minimum, shameful really. Then you have a jaded community that is negative all the time and also given up.. cant be helped. My personal theory is more in line with Radials, that they overstretched that division and we are seeing the results of that crunch.

These armchair market analysts are the best too. They come out of their golden thrones to explain to the peons why this game isn't going to get x or y, even tho they've been proved wrong in the past. The exact same people who I argued with for years on a FF7 remake, including one of the original admins here. I'll never forget how sure they were it would never happen lol.

Nobody can pretend to know the numbers behind the scene unless they work for SE. You can't blame the players, blame SE because they are ruining yet another thing. The players deserve more content and updates, they are only going to continually lose revenue and subs and eventually decide its not worth it all due to their stupid choices.

Also it's really tiring how if people disagree with an opinion they go thru this loop of "omg get over it"

I actually agree that SE doesn't care about FF11, lol. I tell them to get over it because I think it's more beneficial to do so.

I usually spend around £1k a year on XI, I've unsubbed almost every character now. It feels like they are just running the game into the ground while charging the full sub fee at this point. I don't feel they care if we are mad or not, I literally don't think they care.

I would love to be proven wrong though, and the last chance is them seeing sense and increasing funding next year. Player numbers have been decimated over the past 6 months and the lowest I recorded them at being 85k in 2018 are currently sitting at 75k or so.

The biggest problem is Matsui was very passionate about 11 (even when he wasn't getting much money, he did the best with what he was given) and I don't feel that from Fujito at all.

It's actually pretty simple though.

I defended them when they were trying with a limited budget to make new stuff and bring players back in, but what they are doing right now is utterly indefensible and the only people who say otherwise don't play the game. Rhapsodies built a ton of good content that kept the game going for the next 4-5 years, and it also built a lot of good will in the community. Rhapsodies was really good and it paid for that investment 10x over cause it kept tens of thousands of people all paying a sub all that time.

With Rhapsodies the rest of CBU3 helped and we got new models and textures and music, with TVR none of them did cause they were busy, and so it was extremely low quality and had no new areas or anything. There wasn't even a new pro or antagonist model.

Then at the end of that they effectively remove all the devs and give you nothing to look forward to at all and expect the same sub fee, considering a lot of people have multiple accounts this ain't gonna fly.

The problem with CBU3 is they have had sub based games so long they think they don't have to earn that money anymore it seems. A lesson nearly every other video game company in the world found out long ago.

Regardless, everyone has a breaking point. The difference is you been hatin' since the start.

English official forums are toxic as hell and I consider myself a lesser person for having engaged with them.

LMAO, this website is no better.

I don't like a certain DRK subjob and had a barrel of nuclear waste filled hatred poured on me....

The proposal doesn't matter to me either way, but as they discuss the effect of 3-minute recast Warp Ring, on Warp Cudgel and Black Magic spells Warp and Warp 2, I think to myself:

Where's the like-minded NA or EU Player solidarity? On what topics can we band together and get SE to notice us and address our concerns collectively?

All for the team effort, but why not something more meaningful?

Warp ring, instant warp scrolls, retrace scrolls, holla/dem/mea rings and the various other teleport items people have access to make this a non-issue really. Set your HP near a gate guard or curio moogle and /fork.

Yeah, it makes me wonder what JP players care about. However, I'm sure if they based NA/EU player impressions from the English OF posts, we look really bad. I wish there was more meaningful requests from Japanese players especially because they have much higher user engagement (likes) on the official forums.

One of the JP posters even replied in that thread and said: "Please refrain from posting weird posts". Haha

This one only sticks out to me because it's the same for reraise. You can use a scroll, buy a scroll, a reraiser, a hi-reraiser from curio, free super rr from Ambu, free super rr tanks from monthly deeds.... and then all the other rr items/equip you can craft or buy. That's excessive in almost all cases, yet people would still ask for reduced recast or expanding the jobs that haev access to the spell, ect.

It would have been great if we had a community manager with enough understanding of development that parsed all of our "weird posts" and assembled a more reasonable list of demands. They could poll it and have input from players guiding where they spend their limited time and resources. Unfortunately, they've already set precedent that they aren't listening so people wouldn't show up to vote.

Wouldn't it be nice if the community reps, like, did that.

Instead of playing mediocre vtuber

The person who best fits the role already has 6 other job titles. Vtuber fits the budget. I mean, I guess it could have been Ninja? Not sure I feel any better about that to be honest.

There's 6-8 "community reps" and none of them do a *** thing.

3 or 4 are NA (sy ok and zhex) I think there's another one?
