While I don't disagree with the possibility that male would experience higher dopamine rush from photos, I think you REALLY underestimate how effective it is to scam females with sexy male photos on social media.

According to police department in my country, 30% of the social site scam victims are male, 70% are female. Scammers targeted female victims and started the conversation using sexy male photos.

The reason why you never receive sexy male photos from scammers is because you are male, so scammers won't use male photos if they target you lol.

Idk if other regions have different victim ratio. But saying male photos won't work well in a scam is incorrect.

Edit: after finding more info it looks like male/female scam victim ratios are quite different depending on the site. But scammers almost always use sexy male photos when they approach a rich single female victims and it often works too.

Game journalist is a job that their performance is being measured by traffics generated by their articles. So the more extreme their opinion is in an article the better their performance is. Such articles are more likely to be posted on different internet forums by people who disagree, which increases traffics.

So internet journalists are just going to write the most extreme opinions ever, it benefits them.

If I ever read an article I only look at numbers in it, that's all. Any other opinion does not matter.
