With the introduction of Impossible to Guage thuds, please post your Trove drops.
I've just done some mars orbs and got one ITG thud:
I also noticed a new annoyance with Mars orbs. My final 2 remaining chests where both brown (1 mimic and 1 formerly gold/rainbow chest that is now brown/ordinary). This is in-line with the update notes ...but it is so easy to pick the mimic in that situation.

Rainbow chest appears on the flop (ITG + Terminal was Thud). Same as my last ITG reward coffer. This feels exactly like the old Loud Thud system. -_-;

Ok, so, you guys are mad complaining about synthesis crystals.
They are used to create some of the best weapons in the game. While you may not be the crafter, that crystal represents up to 70m. There are not many more valuable items that exist. Even if you deem them as worthless, because their immediate sale value is a mere 1m.
Viewing them as what they're worth and not their value is not knowing the difference. And why Square says it belongs in ITG and while you think it belongs as a shitty noise.
Just so we're fully clear, they do suck as a drop. I'd be annoyed, too. I just understand why square kept them there.

I've gone all the way twice and had the last chest turn into a rainbow chest = ITG LT, or a gold chest = LT
3 x ITG LT 2x synthesis crystal and a regal gauntlets
4 x LT Ammurapiu Shield, Kyrene's earring, sroda ring, volte beret

Me: Too chicken to go all the way so I opened the terminal coffer (thud)...and got a Crepuscular Helm.

To be fair, it looks like you opened 3 chests here but only got 2 items, so you likely already had the loud thud item that dropped.

This is really interesting.
Venus Orb: 1 LT on the floor. Reward chest was gold (Loud Thud), so 2 LTs in Total. Terminal coffer was only a thud. Still got a Volte Body:
I guess, according to SE, Dyna-D crystals (ITG) are worth more than a Volte body (LT)? ...Nothing makes sense.
