Just got Regal Gauntlets from ITG on a Mars Orb. (Unfortunately, my last 2 chests where both Brown, so no Mars Reward transformation. I wasn't going to risk an ITG on 50/50 mimic.

This message appeared when the reward chest transformed into a Prismatic chest ...so I guess, the Hint upgraded from an LT Hint to a ITG at the end of the run. But what did I get from the ITG loot pool? A Gusterion. So...yay?

Hint indicated as such but with a "?" at the end.
I also have a habit of kneeling at the terminal coffer before I open it. Call me old fashioned, I guess? I did notice that the mouse cursor would de-target / remove itself from the terminal coffer. This made doing a /kneel quite difficult. (This de-target is something SE mentioned in update notes 1 or 2 months back). :shrug:

I started with the front center chest and worked my way around clockwise. When there were only two chests left, the final one - immediately to the right of the first one I opened - turned prismatic.

I'm having a hard time following happened here. I can confirm that I got an ITG from a prismatic chest (Reward chest, 9th chest, whatever you want to call it). Then the terminal coffer gave me another ITG:
But...in your case, working backwards, you got a noise from the terminal coffer, before that prismatic (ITG) ....and before that, your 8th chest (was ITG first)? Is that right?
I would imagine 8th was ITG, then rainbow pop 9th, then terminal

Also, if anyone care about this double attack effect, I went out with a Level 1 Club and Offhand Kraken Club and I confirm that the DA+100% completely negates Kraken Club's OAX features (due to how we understand Multi-attack processing to be prioritized). Every mainhand swing does 2 hits + 2 hits in the offhand with Kraken Club. (Obviously, this is pending the 95% or 98% accuracy cap, whatever it is these days).

So fun fact, those thud sound effects are treated like /tell chimes and <call> sounds: they ignore your sound settings. So much for, say, listening to music or videos in the background.

venus 5x noise 4x thud{center was thud) loud thud Murky Detritus Grand Coffer gave 26x on use. rest was Raimitsukane osmium legs punchellos tourmaline akvan pinion pursuers gaiters leaf tip+2 sack igneous barnacle befouled silver. also this was intuition failed you.
2nd Venus was loud thud first box and center was thud got Volte Haubert and a pursuer's hat.
3rd venus loud thud and center was thud it was sacro shield and chorizo cosolette
4th venus loud thud and center was thud was Sangoma and tartarian chain
2x mars was ko on 1st box

The question is when to stop and cash out. I understood this to some degree before patch and why I burned all my vouchers before patch dropped. Now I'm here trying to understand when to cash out. 0/10. All orbs today for me were mimic results. Don't know how you guys do this legit.

Was hoping for null items but no luck :( No intention to judge or demoralize you, but unlike other stuff (hello Crepuscular items) it's pretty easy to target farming Null items.
Well arguably the mask has a slightly worse drop rate, but the three other items are pretty common.
If you still need anything it shouldn't take you more than a few days to get what you want!
I'd help you but you're on a different server alas.

Okay, I'm too tired to make it pretty right now but I tracked 30 mars orbs and 18 venus orbs. Two impossible to gauge thuds, both were Dynamis job crystals. Got a mog amplifier as a loud thud drop. Hit triple loud thud twice on the venus orbs (opened a loud thud box while still getting the "You feel like there's a huge sound left to be made." message, and then loud thud terminal. Conversely, I cleared 8/10 boxes four times on the mars orbs, only to get three no upgrades and one gold box (which was a loud thud, at least.) Got a prismatic box at the start of one mars orb though.
Standout drops: Pulse cell: Ay, the one round that gave me three Celaeno's cloths (I had two thuds, so I guess 100% confirmed they're a noise drop? I think the treasure pool actually sorts by noise rating, best noise at the top.) Onyx, lapis lazuli, ruby, light opal, and black pearl share the "are you sure this is supposed to be a prize" award.
Two messages noted, "You feel like there's a huge sound left to be made" and "You feel like there's an impossible to gauge thud left to be made", both of which were seen ending with "." and "...?" not sure what that's about, I've got records of both variants of the impossible to gauge variants building up to a "Looks like your intuition was incorrect."
Frankly, much like with belligerent bangs before them, what these messages really seem to indicate is that the next box you touch will be the mimic.

Not what I'd observed, but I didn't get an Omen body last night either (did get Regal Gauntlets from Loud if those are the same tier). Also got Epam ring from Loud, several Volte pieces, Odin Gsword, etc. Things I got from Impossible were new to trove - Null cape, TH ring, Dyna crystal, etc. Did get a Sortie Sapphire from Loud I think too :/
Could be that some drops got moved up, could be that they can drop from either.

I got 2 LTs (one of them was gold chest, while terminal coffer was just a noise). I got this Heroism Crystal Grand Coffer, which gave me 27 heroism crystals...

No, like bad items sneaking in behind good items. As an example, not all of the original trove specific equipment is worthy of ITG, but it all goes in because it's a group of items.

I've just done some mars orbs and got one ITG thud:
I also noticed a new annoyance with Mars orbs. My final 2 remaining chests where both brown (1 mimic and 1 formerly gold/rainbow chest that is now brown/ordinary). This is in-line with the update notes ...but it is so easy to pick the mimic in that situation.
