Taru kupo here, Im returning back in the game after several years of chillin. Ive played ffxi for many years but took some time off due to life choices. Anyway, I want to go back into the game (Bahamut), any recommended LS? I'm casual but looking to get strong.

"Casual" and "Strong" usually dont mix well in FFXI.

I'm the leader of TPT.

The Phantom Troupe is an event-driven EU-based linkshell on Bahamut currently looking to fill our last few open spots. We’re an active and social group focused on running a wide range of content together in a relaxed, cooperative environment.

We’re primarily based in the EU timezone (UK GMT), and our members range from long-time veterans to returning players. We value consistency, teamwork, and a laid-back attitude toward progression. No elitism, no pressure — just a good group of people who enjoy the game and want to experience as much of it as possible.

What We Offer:

Structured weekly events during EU evenings (18:00 till 20:00)
A balanced mix of content: Sortie, Odyssey (Sheol A/B/C/Gaol), Ambuscade, Dynamis-D, Unity, and more
Supportive atmosphere for gearing and catching up
A strong community focus — we help each other, and we have fun doing it

What we've done already as a LS:

Dynamis W3 (All Zones);
Omen (All Bosses);
Odyssey Bosses (@V15, grinding the V20s);
Sortie (several groups doing ABCDEGH);
Weekly Vagary Clear;
Limbus (level 135);
Full Aeonic run with melee setup (with a run happening every 2 months);

Who We’re Looking For:

Friendly, respectful players who enjoy team-based content
EU timezone preferred (but not mandatory if you can make event times). We have also NA people.
Casuals, returnees, and veterans are all welcome!
No job restrictions — bring what you enjoy playing (outside of fights that encourages specific setups like Sheol Ghaol)

You definitively can get strong even being casual if you know what to do and how to do it efficiently.

Though, the major problem I see is this

Thanks for the reply guys. I used to play THF, however, the game may have changed since I last played, 8 years ago. What’s a decent job that people look for these days? When I used to partake in events like Omen, they had particular jobs they were seeking.
