Day 3 and our plow boys still haven’t even gotten to the side streets yet… the plow workers in this area are so *** worthless.

So, how bad is it? Over here in Norway we've had -22F and over 6 feet snow since early January, normal winter basically.

Worst it got for temperature was -56 F with wind chill in Minnesota.

No idea where the snow was worst or how much fell.

Mild winter here in N central WA. 15 F was the coldest so far and not enough snow for a snowball. Our winters usually get down to 0 F with a foot or so of snow.

It got really really cold, and they did a horrible job for most of the transportation here. Not seen it this cold in ages, the river froze up which looked nice, can't remember the last time that happened like this

Come off it. Six inches of snow and the entire I5 corridor from Vancouver BC south to Eugene OR is at a standstill.

I visited upstate NY one winter. I could keep the locals howling with laughter with stories of snow in Seattle and how the city handles it.

Tell me, did Seattle ever get more snowplows to supplement the 22 it had when I lived there?

hey I am not saying it is they aren't silly here, it only takes that dusting of snow to shutdown the schools or even the threat of it to get the school day ended early.

how Seattle handles snow ("blizzard" 2015):

Ouch yeah, it does happen quite a few times indeed. Pretty scary to see a bus skating like that. At least this won't happen in the metro (which is kind of a different story).

Pi ouin, je suis de Montreal aussi :)
