Returning Player Questions

Hi everyone! Haven't played in years! Just returned yesterday and the game is very different. Unfortunately my Ho Ex threw a load of my ***, so my gear level is kinda Eh, (AF+2/3 Relic +2/3 levels). I wanna play DRG but I heard it's prime or bust. I have a few questions.
Odyssey- is this possible with trusts? My jobs are mastered but I heard there's a new master level now.
Where should I start? It's been a while, there is SO much too catch up on.
Luas - My lua is old AF and kinda useless, are there decent template luas out there to download and edit?
Money - she took my money too so I'm a brokie lol is Asura still everything is merc only?

When you're talking vengeance 0 clears then I think it should be possible, probably also depends on your job though. However it imho strongly depends on your moogle mastery level which improves your trusts inside odyssey. If you haven't done any odyssey before you're starting at moogle mastery 0, max is 45 and I'd say you don't see much improvement at all before you got it to around level 30 or higher.

Leveling moogle mastery solo also takes forever. I'd estimate it's comparable effort to making a prime stage 4 or 5 and from what I hear they still don't open up higher odyssey vengeance levels for solo play even at max lvl 45.

Heya! I don't even know what that is yet hahaha, this is the issue I'm having, I don't know anything about this new job level system, nor the trust levelling system lol

moogle master is a system exclusive to odyssey that levels up by finishing a couple of objectives, mainly opening chests/coffers/aurums, killing a lot of fodder mobs and every NM a couple of times.

That system in particular has zero effect on your trust's effectiveness outside of odyssey. There are other trust upgrading systems that work globally but so far they don't seem potent enough to make a significant improvement for solo odyssey boss clears.
