NMTimer is a Windower 4 addon that tracks NM respawns, aimed at Magian trial and Empyrean weapon farming. Kill an NM or its PH and a small HUD counts down to the next spawn, with a chat notice and a sound shortly before it can pop.
- Picks up kills in your view range, whoever got the kill
- Keeps counting through zone changes and logout
- Measures PH respawns and uses the median of your own measurements for the next countdown (for the BG-Wiki NMs, mark the PH yourself with //nmt ph)
- For an NM with no known time, it learns the time from what you measure after a kill (checked in game with timed NMs; lottery NMs not yet)
- Shows where the kill happened and how far away you are
- Ships with 73 Magian/anomaly NMs plus 509 from BG-Wiki. The BG-Wiki times are the wiki's numbers, not verified in game, so some will be off. //nmt time fixes any of them.
It only reads incoming packets and enemy data through the Windower API. It sends nothing and does not touch game memory.
I've only tested it on a Japanese client, so English-client reports are very welcome. NM names are matched against the English names, so a mismatch is the likely failure: //nmt debug prints the names it sees and //nmt alias fixes one.
Install: put the folder in Windower4/addons as NMTimer, then //lua l NMTimer
Use at your own risk. Third-party tools are against the FFXI Terms of Service, and I can't promise this one won't be detected.

Update (v0.6.2): I have now watched timed NMs respawn in game (the bundled Ogopogo and an NM I added myself), and an NM with no known time does learn its respawn time from those measurements. v0.6.2 also fixes some garbled punctuation in the Japanese edition's chat output. The English edition was not affected, but its version number now matches.
