Stringing Pummel

I didn't get to 75 PUP yet but I'm wondering what gear should I go after to help modify this? I recently got Surge Subligar 1/2 but I wanted to know if I need any other ACC gear or etc.

You'll need a hell of a lot more ACC than just Surge Subligar, as PUP is the least accurate job around and hitting more than 3 of the 6 hits is tough without almost full ACC gear.

Any recommendations on ACC gear?

With only 225 or 241 skill... yeah your gunna need alot more acc to hit any worthwhile mobs. Hell I'd probably wear more to hit Ep/DCs really as far as mods... its 32% str and vit. Ws gorget would be nice. Not really sure of everything a pup can get but gl

All situational based on what you're fighting, what food and buffs you have, ect. I have about 5 pummel builds one starting w/ max acc, and the last w/ max mods/attack. The other 3 are on the inbewteen.

As far as acc gear for pup... well theres relic body or avalon breastplate! um most of the usu set is gunna be what you want though I suppose some cobra is ok or the enkidus set or the assault set palansoemthing virtuso belt is nice

I use the Anwig Salade with the Acc+10 Att+5 and STR+4 WS Acc+15 Augments, Potent Belt, Antares harness and the relic Pants, the rest is Str gear and such. :3

Like Vegetto said, acc you need is based on what you're fighting, what food and buffs you have, ect.

But :


Triumph Earring : you will have better damage with a Merman's Earring

Puppetry Dastanas : If you can have a enkidu body, you will have no problem to have a enkidu hands ^^

About your weapon, i see a Scogan's Knuckles in your item set. In pt, you should try Wagh Baghnakhs (accuracy +5, attack +14, delay 60)

My dream on it, is to have a enkidu hands and enkidu body (usukane body is too far away for now) :'(

best - h2h is hades sainti. acc+7 on nq & fairly cheap these days.
head - o hat
neck - faith torque, peacock charm, chiv chain, ws torque
earring - diabloss + brutal nice combo
ring - rajas + omega (toau ring & general acc rings work too if can't get first rings)
body - relic acp or cobra dd set
hands - cobra
legs - asa legs, cobra or surge
feet - af+1
waste - viruso or potent
back - pretty much everything a bit crap unless you got relic

this set will be great for general stuff like campaign battle soloing with h2h merits they don't miss has much as you think. i know enkidu & salvage sets helps the job a lot but this stuff i listed easy for majority of players to get.

Why no brutal and even though you may not have pantin, why basically nothing at all (nothing w/ DD stats). You seem to have a lot of gil (ancient torque) and put a great ammount of effort into your build. Seems wasted when you leave a slot completely empty.

brutal isnt in there because i always forget i have one lol

EDIT: and i dont realy have a good reason for not having a baliclose mantle, i guess its just something i havnt got round to getting yet

pup cant use it

Hades is around 600K in my server (on yours too) not really easy to get "for majority of players". Plus it's the best H2H only for solo, but for pt Wagh Baghnakhs (~20k) pwn it in term of damage (attack +14, accuracy +5 > accuracy +7) and there is Oberon's Sainti (~100k) which pwn both hades and wagh with only "+2 DMG and any amount of HTH skill if you have full merits"

Not agree too with back, Bellicose Mantle (~30k) is nice until you got relic, 200% better that have boxer full time as i can see on some pup in seraph :-/

none taken, i sold alot of my pup gear a while ago & slowly working on getting it back(wether it be getting rare/ex gear or AH stuff) ...just a pain trying to get the baliclose mantle since hardly ever on AH

but only having 2 melee capes in the whole game for pup is pretty lame imo
