I went to the spa with an ingame friend and when we had to put down the date we could only remember what date it was because there was an Odin sign up thread :\

Not saying i dont play too much :P but a buddy of mine came running in my house, kneeled down on the floor said "I got aggro, had to zone"

My oldest brother had a few friends who he managed to get to play FFXI for a few months, and his friends all refer to each other by their character's names. It's a little embarrassing to be in the same place with them all while they call each other Hiriyuki, Sabithmoon, and Khyber, lol.

i'm learning to drive, and the other day with my husband we go with car (he's the driver) and i tried to remember all in class, and suddenly i saw a cop's car and he said: Look honey! GM's on a blue chocobo(our police's car is blue here).
After a looooong LOL, he said: i think i need rest a bit from ff. Often on stores, talking we use ffxi terms. Ex: (... after someshing funny...) hahahaha, it's too "LOL". (... when i'm coocking the dinner and he looks tv or play ffm we talk...) ups! sorry i'm going to look the dinner(on fire) "BRB". Looks sad but its funny if you can do a normal live! PD: sorry my english is not at a high lvl, maybe you need LvlSync english to read it.

This happened to me a few months ago. My brother and I went to a mall. The multi-level parking lot was kindda big, so when I got out of the car I was a bit of lost. Immediately, I glanced to my lower left, of course, I didn't see anything in particular. After a minute of looking to my lower left mindlessly, I started laughing hysterically. I realized I was trying locate the "in-game compass" in real life -.-

When my either of my bosses are walking solo throughout the department, I tell me friend "Watch out, they link when they aggro."
Also, you know you play too much when you call a crab a snipper. You guys play this game too much, I mean that you need to get away from the screen and watch some squirrels mate or something. At least SOMETHING to keep you from thinking about this game.
Now if you excuse me, I got to go farm my homework before my teacher aggros me and the GMs come down on hard and send me to GM jail. I have to zone them so I won't get in trouble.
