Thf And Chr

Do any THF's out there use CHR in the weapon skills now a days?? I see alot of STR++++ thfs or Dex and Str+++ thfs but i dont see any Chr Dex Str thf's..... Isn't Dancing Edge Modifiers: DEX:30% ; CHR:40% ??? 40% i think is bigger then 30% (Duh)... but why dont thf use CHR any more?

It's a secondary modifier though.

Well, I've seen a CHR ring augmented with accuracy, I think that would make a much better ring to use with DE than something with strictly DEX or Acc alone.

Here's the thing. wsc are lvl corrected. So that 30 and 40% comes down to .249 and .332 to base dmg. Dex increase acc and mods SA. Str adds to att and gives .25 to base dmg. So basically on a non SA DE 4dex~4str~3chr. Not a huge difference

Now do searchs for chr str and dex gear and see what will add more 99% of the time in every slot for thf outside of augments of course. Well and you can't count skadi body as that is just pimped for DE

We'd use more Chr stuff if we could, but there just aren't a lot of good pieces w/ large enough amounts of chr on them.

I'd wear Bst. Trousers +1 Etoile Cape on thf if I could and that's about it for chr stuff except like Kirin osode skadi body and maats cap of course. But those are mostly for the other stats

Though, wouldn't the accuracy on the Heca Harness provide more of a benefit for DE than the CHR?

Frankly I wouldn't wear heca body unless I had mandau. ACP body, skadi, dragon harness, enkidus, the 8agi/dex acc one will all generally outpreform heca body for DE sharkbite manstab.

Personally i dont use CHR on thf because it has nothing to do with THF, regardless of what wiki says CHR will not affect ws dmg in a positive way

I'm mithra, so I just said *** it, when it comes to CHR. DEX/STR/ACCY for DE. But I have a larger DMG output on Shark Bite for the most part.

Im the same Galvaya, My sharkbite`s usually out dmg my Dancing Edge, especially on Gods. And i have STR+DEX+Acc for both

And yeah, there is nothing wrong with CHR on DE... it's just that we have mighty pieces which combine STR/DEX/Acc/Atk like Hecatomb and precious few pieces which actually have CHR on them (AF2 feet vs Hecatomb Leggings? CHR rings vs DEX rings? Rajas vs CHR ring? Hmm...)

Still, some pieces like Skadi's Cuirie have CHR on them among other good stats... not that you wouldn't use that beast of a piece if it didn't <_<

This shouldn't happen unless you typically miss 3+ hits on your dancing edge. Hell against gods unless you are getting uber att buffed man stab should do more than sharkbite
