Advice/Suggestions Needed.

Now i don't normally do this, but basically, im looking for some advice on what gear pieces i should try and get for when i ding 75.

At the moment, i'm 73, and seem to be using a mix of different gear sets.

What i have available to me now:

Main: Joyeuse/Mach+1/Espadon+1
Shield: General's Shield
Ammo: Bibiki Seashell

Head: Iron Ram Sallet/lolOptical Hat
Neck: Peacock Amulet/Shield Torque/Parade Gorget/WS Gorget
Ear: Insomnia Earring/Buckler Earring/Fowling Earring (No suppa as i have Bushi, and no Ethereal yet)

Body: Haubergeon+1/Gallant Surcoat/Hct. Harness/Vermy
Hands: Dusk Gloves/Iron Ram Dastanas/Kng. Handschuhs/Hct. Mittens (lol)
Rings: Krousis Ring+1/BQR/Rajas/Woodsman Ring/Hercules' Ring

Back: Forager's Mantle/Boxer's Mantle/High Breath Mantle
Waist: Swift Belt/Warwolf Belt
Legs: Gallant Breeches (problem area)
Feet: Gallant Leggings/Dusk Ledelsens/Marine M Boots/Hct. Leggings

What i have available at 75 (new);

Shield: Koening Shield. working on Terror
Head: W. Turban/Homam Zuccheto (lol)
Body: Nuevo Coselete
Earring: Loquacious Earring/Brutal(?)
Legs: Homam Coscialles
Feet: Almost got AF+1.

Basically, i jst want to know what pieces i should aim for as a matter of urgency.
Mainly i'll be tanking stuff like Limbus, Sky (Farming + Gods), xNMs.

I've just joined a Salvage shell, have an active limbus shell, and an active sky shell.

I like to think im on the right path, but can never hurt to ask, so any input is appreciated! ^^;

A Cure Set is something i've been toying with the idea of, is that mainly for /nin tanking to cement a bit of hate, or..? lol. Should know this stuff, but alas, i do not lol.

Looking at your sets, that's pretty much what i was aiming for. The Limbus based stuff, ie Homam/AF+1 will be easy enough to get, tho Ares Cuirass will obviously take a lot of work, but then i can play with it on War and Drk too :D

Need to acquire some Askar gear aswell, just something i never really bothered with before as always had better gear in most if not all slots lol.

Crimson legs, once can wish, though im going to make my Blitzers Movement+ / PDT-.

Then theres Ritter, and the other 3 I.R pieces, not sure if i should try go for any relic pieces either? Time invested Vs. Benefit doesn't seem worth it really.

For basic pld you have a nice set.

If you want to go more into detail, its nice to have.

You general TP/Haste setup.

Max haste/fast cast for Ni and such.

Shield set for casting Ichi, remember the timer is already low (Assuming you have haste) but the casting is slow and a shield block will gaurentee the spell not being interupted. Or just nice to have this set for any time your caught naked without shadows.
And a combination of the Shield + PDT is nice for straight tanking.

An enmity set for big cures/flash/sentinel.

And the rest is situational. Like HP Up/Down Cure macro set for maxing hate out very easily.
And a Mdef set for certain mobs.

Really depends how extreme you want to go.

Yes your cure cheat macro is good for everything, not just /nin. I have cheats for cure 3 and 4. Cure 3 is a lot more mp efficient for a hate tool. Its great for building hate quickly on slept mobs. Also when you arent taking much damage, but your DD's are putting out alot.

Your gear including your avaliable 75 gear looks pretty good. Just make sure you throw it into various sets. Dont just put peices on places cause they look cool together.

Oh and grab a Iron ram lance. -10% dmg. Yes this does count as -10% magic damage as well :)

Resentment cape is awesome as well as NQ coral gear and coral rings for your MDT set. You wont need HQ. You can hit the MDT cap very easy with NQ gear

^ HQ coral rings/earrings allow you to not have to wear visible coral gear. So, the won't need NQ bit is invalid.
