I grew up listening to this guy since I was a kid so hearing about this was pretty devastating. If you don't know who he is, he's one of the dopest hip-hop artist that didn't rap about *** crack *** in clubs and gang banging.

I know FFXIah isn't really a place to post about it, but if you are a fan, it'd be good to pay your respects. And I know lots of you know who he is.

he was a great lyricist with a great voice,
i been listening to Gang Starr since i was like 7.
have to add a track that i use to bang,
its newer but dude didn't lose his edge over the years

Chris Brown and Usher aren't rappers. They're R&B singers.

Lil Wayne was nasty... back when he was 10 and shot himself accidentally. It all went down hill from there. I too have been greatly disappointed by recent "mainstream" rappers.

Tho I'm sure Chris Brown and ODB would find they have much in common when it comes to *** lol.


Being a Boston guy myself I've always appreciated Guru's talents. It's been a while since Ive listened to his stuff, time to bust it out again.
