Duo'd KA at 85. Me on thf, other on Dnc. No buffs, so I pretty sure he's soloable now. As far as inside abyssea goes, I don't consider anything in there solo. Unless you're doing it without atmas/Cruor buffs. There's nothing in there that's an achievement; never was. Just sayin...

Are you talking about SW KA, or normal KA? I would be pretty impressed with a SW KA duo of just DNC+THF with no magic damage.

I've personally solo'd SW KA on DNC. It's stupid easy now at 95. The dmg resistance isn't an issue when your critting every other hit. Its rather laughable.
I've dual boxed it at 85 with NIN+RDM, but I had the RDM spamming nukes. Didn't think I would be able to do it without the extra magic damage, however that was 10 levels ago.
i was planning on trying to solo ksnm99 wyrm until my un-timely disconnect from the game, if anyone is interested in trying, it requires skilled up throwing and the use of cyclone.
soooooo glavoid is pretty easily soloable considering you dont miss a stun on gorge/disgorge
i know it was duoable at 85 with dnc + brd/whm but yeah it was fun to say the least
That is good to know, since I'd had my future twashtar sitting at glavoid stage for I dont even know how long now and never able to find anyone willing to help me after they finished glavoids on whatever they needed it for.
i havent really messed with the older content of abyssea since our latest level increase but for all intents and purposes im pretty impressed, never really considered soloing the twashtar path being that i wanted a thf around anyways, but being able to kill it completely solo opens up alot of options for dnc.

i TRIED to solo it at 85 but for the life of me i couldn't do it so i almost gave up at the glavoid path
but now that it is reasonably soloable (even easier to duo) there really is no reason to not have a twashtar if your a career dancer

Australia internet plans suck. Get 20gb of internet usage a month then it drops down to worse than dialup speed. FFXIAH is one of the only sites I can even get to load right now
i was just wondering if anyone has solod any of the fomor nms that drop the synergy weapon items, more specifically Ethniu, ( http://ffxi.gamerescape.com/wiki/Ethniu ). ive only fought the hume one and we had a couple people stunning everything he did, so im not sure what the whole level up thing is or how difficult it is..about to go try the mithra as dnc/nin x2 :O
--or any job that could kill ethniu, not necessarily dnc onry
EDIT: wiped at 34%. friend died at about 70% from full hp to 0 @_@. she's hard to keep up with on waltz, especially when you need to hwaltz your silence from her add effect. was doing fine solo but its rough
