If you lost that BC w/ 12 ppl, you straight up don't know what you're doing.
Especially w/ 2 rdms 2 blms.
Last time I did this BC was at 85 w/ sam sam whm blm blm rdm and it was very easy. Went through all fights w/o failing once.

Only thing I can think of that would cause a 12 man to loose vs this. Just 5 manned kirin thf, mnk, rdm, smn, whm. No perfect defense, no 14tp smites, the whm and thf were being dual boxed. Nq kabob, all mnk jas pop it 2hr it dead.
No actually to give you a bit more information that was fkin close tbh with no soul voice or perfect defense, he nearly summoned at the end. I started with 300tp then 2hr after already having all jas up impetus focus berserk, 1st ws 3k, few 2ks in there last one was 3k think it was 5 ws, hundred fists had worn off b4 we killed it with 40% of its hp left. I mean I didnt get any 14 or 16tp smites and 2-3k isnt exactly that big but thf and mnk just for dd using hundred fists is a close call no brd.
Maybe 2 healers 2 dd yeah, id do barfire over any other bar spells heat breath seemed to rape me the most.
Just destroyed Byakko in 2mins, wld of been half that w/o pd, setup mnk/war, thf/nin rdm/whm, dual boxed whm and a smn could of counterstanced through claw cyclone in an eva build and would of lived I cancelled it when I knew it was about to tp, it did 686 dmg with berserk up.
No its watersday atm so earth b4 that was only 1 hour 15mins ago according to my 2hr.
Just tried MNK/BRD/SMN Kirin.
was messy lol. PD wore off way too early. Icarus wing/str potion/ marchx2 then HF @ last 37%. Main problem was I forgot to ballad the SMN and ran out of healing magic. Kirin was @ 2% and I was @ less than 200 hp. Thank god for chakra. Kited last 2% till SMN had enough MP for predetor claws. Next time will be NP. Just gotta set right macros on BRD. EDIT: You can avoid heat breath using Ballista Tactics - lock on and just circle it. Doesn't work for deadly hold though. Just wanted to give a quick forewarning to people, but headed to Kirin with nin thf thf rdm rdm all well geared, competent players. Ended up wiping because Kirin decided he would just spam that Wind AoE WS for 700 a pop (I am unsure if this had to so with it being Windsday/ Wind Weather). Sometimes literally using it 5 times in a row. Rdms were keeping up ok until Genbu popped when kirin was at 50% or so and one of the rdms had to support a thf soloing genbu.
We ended it up comming back thf samX3 drk brd whmX2 and killing it in a minute or so. Much easier to just bring a few heavy DDs and zerg him down then to attempt to low man if you can fine the people. I think samX2 whmX2 brd thf would probaby work fine especially of sams have fudo. |
