You can only absorb MP with Origin if the mob itself has MP to absorb.
If you need MP, just slap at least 1 point into Entropy, as it converts damage to MP.
I've already checked against mobs that have MP such as Crawlers & Crabs (PLD mobs). No MP was gained or restored.

To be fair, it looks like you opened 3 chests here but only got 2 items, so you likely already had the loud thud item that dropped.

Hmm. I dont think "do anything in the game anywhere to some unknown point (maybe or maybe not counting)" means we´d know what to do. Take monstrosity for example. Its comon sense it raises the rank, but how? Max lv monsters? One lv90+ monster each species? Buy some/all instincts? etc...
I think its too easy to claim, we know what to do. We trained to follow paths and complete tasks (Missions, crafting, content, etc)to achieve what we desire. The mastery rank should be the same (now).
It is, but the formula is invisible to the players, just like all other quest/access/progress things. The problem with Mastery Ranks is that it takes into account everything*, and there's too much content to list to determine what specifically weighs more heavily than others. It's complete speculation on what affects what, because every player will have different progress based on the number of things they have completed, so any combination of things can influence your rank.
It's probably like a progress bar of experience points, and every mastery rank requires a certain amount of "Mastery Points". i.e. Mastery 1>2 = 100, 2>3=250, 3>4=475 etc. Each ROE gives x amount of points, certain ones give y, others give z. Titles give x+1, etc etc. I'd be shocked if they made that information available to players, but then again, they've been doing some interesting things to make some content "Easier", so maybe they will at some point. Until then, the only advice on how to increase your rank is to "go do quests you haven't done".

It turned a ritualistic/demoniac story in a schizophrenic sociopath committing horrendous crimes without even being aware of it.
But that's the best part? It's a psychological horror franchise wherein the monsters are manifestations of the protagonist's inner psyche wherein the link that ties the franchise together isn't the town of Silent Hill, but the psychosis induced by white claudia.
How did you feel about Silent Hill f? I know many long standing fans were upset with setting being Ebisugaoka instead of Silent Hill. The town is a Japanese play on words that effectively means Silent Hill. There's tons of symbolism throughout. I thought it was a wonderful artistic expression of a woman's coming age and rejection of traditional values of a woman's purpose being derived from her marriage.

It definitely won't be "change nothing". There will be things to optimize. Store TP becomes more valuable if you have 100% chance for either hand to DA through the TP phase. Higher WSC, more attack potentially becomes more effective than items that might give you a few % DA or TA chance when you have guaranteed DA procs in an fTP transfer WS (Monk's WS, Fast Blade II). Simulation will make short work of narrowing down some of the top contending options. Personal flavor for different situations after that.
Sherida on WS becomes basically STR/DEX Earring with that ammo. Other Earrings will do that better.

Ok, so, you guys are mad complaining about synthesis crystals.
They are used to create some of the best weapons in the game. While you may not be the crafter, that crystal represents up to 70m. There are not many more valuable items that exist. Even if you deem them as worthless, because their immediate sale value is a mere 1m.
Viewing them as what they're worth and not their value is not knowing the difference. And what Square says it belongs in ITG and while you think it belongs as a shitty noise.
Just so we're fully clear, they do suck as a drop. I'd be annoyed, too. I just understand why square kept them there. Can I complain about this being in ITG?

It's a finesse. Flood the market with tons of ampullas, people spend the next few weeks "playing around" with 100% DA and the overall gil quantity across the server slowly depletes. The ol' banana in the tailpipe. Genius.

I've gone all the way twice and had the last chest turn into a rainbow chest = ITG LT, or a gold chest = LT
3 x ITG LT 2x synthesis crystal and a regal gauntlets
4 x LT Ammurapiu Shield, Kyrene's earring, sroda ring, volte beret

Just to add to this point: by now I’ve seen about a dozen screenshots of it dropping, with one getting it back-to-back, in 9~10 hrs since going live.
Difficult to imagine it’s meant to hold the same price as KC in terms of rarity.

This has been done for 4 months, if you'd just merge the pull request.
I fixed a few random bugs and a performance issue too, and made the save interface better.
To the OP:
Its a daunting task, I'm pretty sure I was the first person to publish any sort of spreadsheet comparison tool to the community (2009ish) I tried to keep up with it for a year or 2 but its difficult (game is probably more stable now) and the list of things that can 'be better' is near endless. If you hide your code no one can help you debug it and if people get answers that look wrong they'll quickly dismiss it.
Once you have something usable share it, if its good it will gain traction.

BP+ all earring that correlates to mastery ranking gives +5 all stats at Mastery Rank 5 and +10 at rank6
Did you just get it from Troves? Venus and not Mars orb?
I got mine from a Mars Orb that also gave me 5m when I opened the middle chest. Only opened 1 or 2 chests and got ITG thud and opened the middle.

Rainbow chest appears on the flop (ITG + Terminal was Thud). Same as my last ITG reward coffer. This feels exactly like the old Loud Thud system. -_-;
