The pet cycling and the movement speed issues are both issues, and you glossed over the fact that the 12% movement speed costs you an ilvl gear slot.
A minor point, but I feel like most players ought to be moving to Shneddick Ring at this point in the game anyway.

I loved Izaya <3
I'm in a good mood today. Wuthering Waves released a new unit last night and I got her for free with the rolls I earned from playing the game. Won my fourth 50/50 in a row.

I'm having an issue where I need to push alt tab multiple times to get to a ffxi instance, even though it should have been the next window. This is on windows 11. It's very annoying.

I'm a controller guy myself. I had found that if I clicked the FFXIDB map addon that it would send my controller inputs to every instance of FFXI. That stopped working, but it was super useful for stuff like Oseem, D.box, gob box, ect. I'd love to be able to toggle that.

Huh, I wonder if this is the cause for a strange behavior for Controller/Hybrid I’ve been seeing only just recently. I always just move the mouse and click on the window of whichever alt to control them directly but lately it’s been attempting to clone all inputs across all characters, movements and all lol. Can be useful in some instances but not when I can’t control it 0_0.
The work-around I found was the click anywhere on the desktop background BEFORE attempting to select another character lol hopefully this is just something weird with Discord and this change fixes the shenanigans. Thanks for that.

Also, movement speed is rounded to even percentages on the client, but the cheer may actually be 3% in the server code. Similarly, Bolter's Roll looks like only even percentages when measured in isolation on the client, but may actually have odd values in there that we just can't experience because of the rounding.

I think for the Reive objectives (colonization or wildskeeper) you need to do enough (via time and or damage/actions) to get a positive evaluation, when i was doing the colonization one last night my main got it in 2, my friends (ie mule) took 4 because he was on RDM and undergeared so the 2nd and 3rd ones with other people there I wasn't able to do enough to get evaluated before it ended and no credit (so just standing there will not work).

Switch focus was a god send for getting around the alt tabbing changes. Would highly recommend it.

I really like Dandadan. Compared to all other modern shows, it's an absolute gem. Season 2 did not feel near as polished as season 1. I had to rewatch season 2 after it was all out to enjoy it. 1 week at a time is not the way to consume Dandadan or any other 20min show.
Your take on how Ken reacts to Momo is funny to me. You see it as he's uncomfortable, but I don't believe that's the case. It's not that he's uncomfortable, he's never experienced these things. The inner dialog between Ken and Momo hits home with me so much. I overthink absolutely everything too and I've had the exact thoughts/feelings Ken experiences.
Overall I enjoy the show, but I do think season 1 blew season 2 out of the water. Doesn't give me hope for the longevity of the show.

One thing that I didn't mention, even though it seems pretty obvious to me but maybe not to others, it does in no way whatsoever affect the speed you have when you use a mount.
Other than that, it works everywhere and stacks with everything, no matter the source.
The only limit is the total movement speed cap of 60% which you can in no way get past through normal means in this game, as far as I know at least.
|
|
 |
|
It does. It's just 2% even if game says 3%.
It stacks with everything but of course it doesn't break the overall 60% cap. Thank you Sechs.

Does the Cheer Jumbotender movement speed stack with movement gear? BGWiki says yes, ffxiclopedia says no.

I love summoner, it's my go-to job for most mid-level serious fights, and it's got a lot to offer, but... it's one of the worst picks for no-hassle casual play.
The pet cycling and the movement speed issues are both issues, and you glossed over the fact that the 12% movement speed costs you an ilvl gear slot.
Auto-engage on aggro is the real problem though. You don't get any kind of a warning, if you're going fast enough your first clue that something went wrong is your pet has gone missing. Which is something you'll generally notice because, uh-oh, you really really need a pet right there right then to get you out of trouble, but the stupid thing got stuck on an easy prey mob you didn't even notice was giving you the stink eye five minutes ago.
I prefer brd/dnc, you get the 38% movement speed from gear and mazurka, songs that can cover a wide variety of situations, spectral jig, naegling compatibility, and aeolian edge. Waltzes give you a little emergency healing, paeon lets you top up when you have a minute to rest. Losing songs on zoning sucks, but it's faster to apply four songs twice than to put up any two corsair rolls or any three summoner buffs (any two if apogee is down.) You're reliant on warp ring to get home, but seriously who doesn't have one and how busy are you that you need to go straight to your home point more than once every ten minutes.

edit: Okay starting from scratch and just adding.
Base JP/Merit/Trait: 19
Gandrig - 6 (25)
Gleti knife - 5 (30)
Empy hat - 6 (36)
Neck - 4 (40)
+2 ear - 5 (45)
Raiders - 1 (46)
Pil. Vest - 7 (53)
Herc gloves - 6 (59)
Gere - 5 (64)
Epona's - 3 (67)
Ambu cape - 2 (nice)
+1 Chiner's - 2 (71)
Gleti pants - 5 (76)
Herc boots - 6 (82)
We have a tie.
It's not an ambu cape, it's a reive cape.
Gleti's Knife is 6, not 5.
It's 83.

Main: Lanun B
Offhand: Blurred knife+1
You'll be able to self haste1 and have oat on both hands on top of whatever multihit you have in gear and if you fighters roll instead of chaos. obviously slower than capping haste with trust but you'll still be able to self sc, this is the combo I used in sortie to solo the elementals in B on Cor/dnc

You can also fight adds and ignore the boss to generate actions that get credit, you'll also get eval for that (provided the boss is being killed)

I do not know of any 100% TA builds in existing much less 100% QA builds.
I mean we can figure this out, right? Red mage would certainly be a good candidate with Temper2. Last I checked I'm getting 37 but I'm also not swapping weapons so let's assume best case 40. That's a good starting point.
Gleti's Knife/Ternion +1 - 6/4 (10)
Paeapua - 1
DM Aug Merlinic (5/5) - 4 cap? (20)
Balder earring - 1
Hetaroi ring - 2
Bleating Mantle - 2
Windbuffet belt +1 - 2
So 38 from gear, total 78? Dual-wielding that makes 5.12 swings per attack round on average, but with severe loss of accuracy and storetp compared to what you'd normally wear in those slots.

Dandadan has more flaws than I thought at first.
It is also lame how, in an attempt to portrait the female protagonist “strong”, different of many bland of inexpressive female protagonists out there, but in the end, the supposed strength of her is represent by the worst a man could do.
I mean, sure, hand holding is like kindergarten stuff, but the way this hand holding was build, with the girl imposing it even without the relationship being properly established, and with the guy being visible uncomfortable with it made me question: “so it is fine a woman impose on man? Because the opposite (man imposing hand holding on a woman) is common sense is just a shade of the RP word.”.
So Yeah, the story is still good, and having moderately fun, but Im feeling a little disapointed when I think the hype I had with this

triangle guy nailed it!
in all seriousness, accordion is such a cool instrument The bad rep it has comes more from music that is SO past tense. I hope it is in much better hands today.
Full disclosure: I once dated someone who played the accordion among other instruments. I know it can be a force for good.
